Vansh

I woke up with a pounding headache. Dadi handed me a cup of tea, and I sat with dadi, chatting. Over tea, she mentioned someone had bought the house next door after years of it being empty.

"I don't want neighbors," I muttered, frowning.

"But, beta, it'll be good to have company nearby," Dadi said with a soft smile.

Her words softened me, so I agreed and soon left for work. Today, I had a meeting at a hotel—unusual for me, but my assistant Varun had insisted.

Varun was more than just my assistant; he was my best friend since college, someone who knew every detail of my life. As I approached the hotel, I saw him waiting by the entrance.

"Boss, do you know who bought the house next to yours?" Varun asked with a mischievous grin.

I sighed. "Varun, I'm not in the mood. I've had a terrible morning."

"Just listen! You won't believe it," he said, barely able to contain his excitement. "Your rival—Ashrita—is going to be your new neighbor."

My headache worsened instantly. "What? That's impossible! No way. I can't even stand seeing her face, and now I have to live next to her?"

Varun shrugged. "I just deliver the news. What you do with it is your problem," he said, smirking.

has become more unhinged recently but what will i do now "GREAT"

Between the meeting I heard a voice and I knew whom It was a turned my face and I saw her it was Ashrita

Varun also saw her and he signalled me not to do anything stupid because Varun knows her well and they both are good friends

It is so irritating for me that my bestfreind is friends with my rival uhh  I let a sigh. We wrapped the meeting fast so I could tease Ashrita. I went to her she was talking to her sister Aakriti about some trip when she saw me she  told Aakriti to go to school safely and stood in front of me

this is the only thing I like about her that she cares so much about her sister and her people and nothing else she is very annoying  I came near her and said to her "should i give you suggestion ashrita"

,

"Should I give you a suggestion, Ashrita?"

She turned to me, clearly annoyed. "What suggestion could you possibly have, Mr. Singhania?"

"Maybe you should join your sister at school. At least you'd learn some basic etiquette—like how cheating and hacking aren't proper business practices," I said, feeling proud of my jab.

To my surprise, she looked genuinely apologetic. "Mr. Singhania, I'm sorry for what happened. I apologize for the trouble I caused you and your team. I really am sorry."

I did not expect such a reply from her she is always so bold fierce and never apologises does she have a fever but when I think about it she never ever in all these years hacked or cheated with my company or any other she is the most honest person I know so there is something very wrong so I do not think I will punish her until I know the truth .

Still, I wasn't about to let her off the hook so easily. "I accept your apology, but you caused me a lot of trouble. You'll have to compensate for it."

She crossed her arms. "And what exactly do you want from me, Vansh?"
