“Yes..I'll stay in the fortress of meropide!”

You said nervously. “Great. I already have the papers out incase, so I just need you to sign here.” Wriothesley said, placing the different papers on his desk. It took a while but you soon finished signing all the papers. Wriothesley told you where your room was. You were walking to your room but as predicted you got a lot of looks. Some perverted, some questionable. You were anxious but thankfully you made it to your bedroom. You admired how it was actually in better quality than others. You soon plopped on your bed and tried to sleep but you heard loud Whispers outside your door. You listened closely to the two strangers talking outside your door, “did you hear? People say she's romantically involved with the duke!!” The lady said in shock. ‘I wish’ you thought in amusement. “Oh come on! You don't know who she is?!” The other lady said unamused. “Well obviously not!!” The 1st lady said. “She comes from a rich family! So the only reason the duke gave her a tour is because she's probably of high status!! Plus her family does supply most of Fontanes tea! And you know the duke is a tea person!” The 2nd lady said. You got tired of hearing their boring gossip session. You walked outside your room and as soon as they saw you they ran. “Well at least now I can sleep.” You said before returning back and plopping on your bed to sleep. After some hours of sleep you woke up to a guard screaming for the other convicts to get up. “Ughhh, well I should've expected this.” You said as you sat up and saw a change of clothes. You quickly changed for the day and wrapped your hair up in a pony tail and added some accessories that were given to you by some friends before you left the surface. You soon finished getting ready for the day. As you turned around you saw a small note on your dresser. The note read.

Dear, (Your/name),

I hope you find the clothes to your liking, I had them tailored to your interests, if you can after a few days please meet me in my office.

Love, Wriothesley.

P.S clorinde and navia helped with the clothes.

You softly giggled remembering how clorinde and navia helped you a lot in the past days. You carefully tucked the note in your pocket as you made your way to the coupon Cafe. “Hello! I'm here for my meal today!” You said with a light smile. “Of course here you are.” Wolsey said before handing you your food. You sat down to go eat it, as you opened the box the meal surprisingly looked better than anyone else's. You looked around and saw people once again staring at you, most of them were envious and dirty looks, you soon spotted a man who looked strong walk to the cafeteria giving you the nastiest look, you just rolled your eyes. Just as you were about to eat you heard someone yell, “HEY LADY!! GIVE ME YOUR MEAL!” you turned around to see one of the more scrawny looking guys, “me?” You said while pointing a finger to yourself carefully. “YES YOU! NOW HAND IT OVER!” The man yelled. “No.” You said sternly. Just as the man was about to shout again you saw Wriothesley coming into view. “I think I've seen enough.” Wriothesley said, grabbing the man's collar. “Are you alright (Your/name)?” Wriothesley said with a bit of worry in his voice. “I'm alright, he couldn't lay a hand on me if he tried anyways.” You said, flashing him a small smile. He returned it with his own. “Well then, apologize.” Wriothesley said, throwing the man on the floor. “I-im so sorry miss! Please forgive me!” He said putting his hands together above his head. “Hmmm how about no!” You said teasingly, “Please miss!” You watched as the man begged some more. “Alright, you're forgiven.” You said crossing your arms. “Now scram!” You said with a giggle. “Y-yes miss!” The man said before running off. You turned around to see your food on the floor. “Aw man! It's all wasted!” You said before turning your head back to face Wriothesley. “It's fine, I'll get you a new meal, on me of course, I was just stopping by to look for sigewinne, but I ran into this instead, please take it as my treat.” Wriothesley said with a closed eyed smile. “Alright fine,” you said before sitting down and waiting for Wriothesley to bring the food, Wriothesley soon brought the food and your eyes sparkled in delight as you saw the food. “Woah! This looks so good!” You said as you looked at Wriothesley. “Haha wolsey is a good chef, but anyways I wanted to ask you something.” Wriothesley said. “Hm?” You said tilting your head in confusion. “How's the clothes? Clorinde and Miss Navia insisted on this style.” He said while taking a sip of his drink. “I love it! Thanks! And I'll be sure to thank them when I see them too!” You said smiling again. “I'm glad.” Wriothesley said. The both of you ate your food while talking about recent events and important ones. When you two finished you followed him to go meet sigewinne, as you finally found her in the infirmary. “Hello sigewinne, I was looking for you,” Wriothesley said, crossing his arms. “Hello your grace, I went to grab some ingredients for a new smoothie! That's why I wasn't here before.” Sigewinnie said with a beaming smile, “Oh hello (Your/name)! My apologies, I didn't see you before!” Sigewinne said smiling at you, “hello sigewinnie, nice to see you again too!” You said smiling back at her, “as expected the two love birds are together, but what did you want to speak to me about your grace?” Sigewinnie said unamused. “Lovebirds?!” You and Wriothesley said in sync. “Haven't you heard? It's the talk of the fortress everyone mentions it.” Sigwinne said, putting her hands on her hips again unamused. “I'm just gonna go…” you said running away I'm embarrassed. You just ran to the pankration ring to take out some pent up anger, you signed up to fight, some men laughed at you considering you were a girl fighting against the men. You got ready as you heard people betting on who would win, almost no one betted on you, “I would like to bet on (Your/Name).” You turned to see you said that only for your eyes to meet Wriothesleys. "How the hell did he get here so quickly?!” You thought confused, most of the people there gasped, some laughed thinking the duke lost his mind.

ONE, TWO, THREE, AND START!

the ringmaster said, your opponent charged at you ready to punch you in the face, luckily you dodged as you hit him hard in the skull. You were waiting for another hit, staring at the frozen man only for him to fall unconscious with a loud thud on the floor, “oops! Ahaha…” you said as everyone went dead silent. Everyone began to boo at you as you ran off the stage and the man was taken to the infirmary. You hid in Wriothesleys office.

After an hour you heard the doors open and Wriothesley come inside, you perked your head up to see him standing there rubbing his temples, “Well everyone's certainly mad because they lost the bet, but I got richer, so that's one good thing, but other thing, are you alright?” Wriothesley asked with worry on his face. “Well… yes! But-""one more thing you're banned from the pankration ring.” Wriothesley said, crossing his arms. “Alright, fair. I won't hold you to that, but now I'm not returning back to my room, they might fight me again!” You said looking down in embarrassment. “Alright, fine, I won't hold you to that either, so you can just sleep on the couches over there with some blankets,” Wriothesley said while walking over to his desk. “Want some tea?” He said pouring his own cup. “Uh (Your/name)?” He looked over to see you dead asleep on the couch. “Oh wow.” He said before sipping on his tea. Suddenly the doors busted open and you got up as Clorinde entered the room. “If the doors break, you're paying.” Wriothesley said, rolling his eyes. “Yeah yeah, oh hello (Your/name) I guess I came in here at the wrong time.”  Clorinde said while winking at you, “you know, the couches here can serve as another purpose.” Clorinde said, smirking at you. “C-CLORINDE!! WE AREN'T LIKE THAT!!” You said, you were as red as a tomato. “If you say so~” Clorinde said before leaving.

“You know I wouldn't mind-” “SHUT UP!” You said throwing a pillow at him as he caught it. You just wrapped yourself in more blankets as you slept.
