HOW ARE WE ALREADY AT THE END OF EPISODE ONE
WE STARTED THIS SHIT LIKE, FOUR DAYS AGO I SWEAR---
Sorry this chapter doesn't have a lot of dialogue from you D: I hate forcing it too much, so it turned out with you mostly being quiet and observing the scene really
Hope you don't mind! You'll be talking in other scenes, I promise 😭

Clement sighs softly as he stares at his missing ring finger on his left hand, frowning lightly as he angles his hand in different positions. Only the length of his first knuckle was salvageable, the rest of his finger having to be amputated. He used to hate it, thinking (Y/N) would be disgusted and weirded out by his amputated finger.
He was, at first. He always hid his hand in his pocket when he could, trying to keep it out of his sight, and hers. She, of course, figured out what he was doing, and always reassured him she didn't mind it and was just glad he was alive. He felt the corner of his mouth twinge up in a smile, closing and opening his hand a few times as he looks over the scarring of his amputation.
Clement was brought out of his thoughts by (Y/N) reaching over with her right hand, gently lacing their fingers together. He blinks rapidly, glancing at (Y/N), who was still looking out the car window for the junkyard. Clement stares down at their hands for a moment, a small smile forming on his face as he lightly squeezes her hand affectionately.
"Hey, (Y/N)? We almost there?" Javier softly questions, peering back at the two from the front seat of the car.
(Y/N) turns to face him, nodding for confirmation. "Yup, should be just up ahead and to the right."
"I gotta say, I hope your people are safe and sound," Tripp speaks genuinely, sighing as he focuses on the road as he drives. "Eleanor asked me before we left to make sure of it."
Javier was surprised at this. "Oh, yeah?"
"Yes sir, so that's what I'm gonna do." Tripp nods, side-eyeing Javier for a moment. "Though, why she would bat for you, I've got no idea. I mean, she hardly even knows you. And you don't know her, for that matter. Makes a guy wonder, you know."
"Ah, there's not much mystery to it, Tripp," Javier speaks in a casual tone, shrugging. "She's a good human being."
(?) Tripp will remember that
Tripp smiles at this, "Yeah. Eleanor's got a big heart, that's for damn sure."
"Hey," (Y/N) calls to get their attention, scooting forward and pointing ahead. "There it is. To the right."
The sun was slowly rising, the sky filled with misty clouds that cast a shadow down on the junkyard. Tripp slows the reinforced van down as they approach the junkyard entrance, Javier's eyes wide with anticipation.
"Oh, shit..." he whispers at the sight in horror.
He quickly exits the van, slamming the door behind him as Tripp follows, walking around the back of the van to Javier's side.
"What a mess..." Tripp murmurs, holding his automatic gun ready in his hands.
(Y/N) and Clement exchange a worried look before they follow, (Y/N) hopping out with Clement right behind her before he slides the van door shut.
The gates of the junkyard had been knocked down, dozens of walker corpses scattered around and blood littering the area.
"Jesus..." Clement breathes out in disbelief, "There must have been hundreds of them..."
