Draco's perspective

I got to my dorm after a long day and sat down on the edge of my bed resting for a while. I was about to change. But then, I heard a knock on my door.

I was too tired to answer the door but got up anyway and slowly walked over to the door. I swung the door open to find a girl standing uncomfortably with her head downwards.

"I'm really sorry but can I stay here for the night?..." The girl started talking and I immediately realized that it was Y/n standing in front of me.

"My ankle is sprained and a weird guy kicked me out of my friend's dorm and I can't walk to my dorm because it's too far and.."

"Can you stop speaking for a second and look up?" I interrupted her. She looked up and me and her facial expression changed immediately. She looked very confused.

"Why are you- is this your dorm?" She asked.

"Yeah, this is my dorm." I replied, trying to hide my smile, but failing miserably.

"Just forget it." She turned around to walk away but fell down instantly.

"Are you sure you can walk to your dorm?" I teased her as she struggled to get up.

"Shut up and help me." She demanded. She looked very embarrassed and it was kind of cute.

"Sure." I replied as I picked her up and threw her on my shoulders.

"Am I heavy for you?" She asked as I closed the door behind me.

"Not at all" I replied as I gently put her down on my bed. She was so light I could carry her all day. If she asked me to, I would. "What happened?" I asked her while trying to take her shoes off.

"You mean how I sprained my ankle or how I ended up in the hallway in the middle of the night?" She asked me sarcastically.

"Both." I finally took her shoes off and moved her ankle around.

"Ouch! Don't touch it!" She screamed at me abruptly. I put her foot down as she continued talking. "I was at the library, I fell down, sprained my ankle, Enzo helped me, and long story short, I was in Enzo's dorm for treatment and a guy kicked me out."

"You mean Blaise kicked you out?" I asked as she made a confused face. "Blaise is Enzo's roommate." I explained farther.

"Ooooh. So Blaise is the one with an attitude? Got it." She said in an annoyed tone. She is always with an attitude.

"Anyways, do you have any clothes you can change into?" I asked her.

"Of course not, what do you think?" She retorted back at me.

"Then, do you want some of my clothes? You're not going to sleep with your uniform on. Right?" I offered.

"Sure." She replied. I went to my closets and looked through my clothes. I imagined her wearing each of my clothes. After a while, I picked up a dark green colored oversized hoodie and gave it to her. I kind of wanted to see her in this big hoodie because she never wears any oversized clothes.

"Wear this." I told her as I handed the hoodie to her.

"Really? A green hoodie? You really do have a thing for Slytherin." She complained as she looked at my hoodie.

"I won't look. Just change." I told her.

"Promise?" She asked.

"Promise." I buried my head in my pillow as I replied. After a while, she finally spoke again.

"I'm done changing. You can look now." I sat up to see Y/n wearing my oversized hoodie which seemed even bigger on her.

I couldn't help but feel a strange twinge in my chest as she stood there, wearing my oversized hoodie. She was still the same Slytherin, but somehow, in that moment, she seemed softer, more approachable.

"Wow, the hoodie is really soft." she said with a smirk, breaking the silence between us.

I cleared my throat, trying to stop my stomach from doing weird things. "I know. It's... uh, it's the most comfortable thing I could find."

"Sure it is. You just couldn't resist the opportunity to see me in Slytherin green, could you?" As she spoke, she raised an eyebrow, teasing glint in her eyes.

I scoffed, trying to hide the fact that she was correct. "Please, like I would waste my time thinking about you."

"Keep telling yourself that, Malfoy." She chuckled.

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help but smile. There was something about her, something that drew me to her even as we were supposed to be enemies.

"Anyway," she said, "Thanks for letting me crash here. I promise I won't make it a habit."

"Actually, I have a roommate. So it would be a huge problem if you made it a habit." I told her sarcastically. She grinned, with a mischievous smile.

"Who is your roommate?" She asked.

"Why are you asking?" I asked back.

"No reason... Just wondering." She told me. I could just sense she was up to something.

"What are you up to? My roommate doesn't joke around." I warned her.

"Don't worry. I'm not trying to mess with him." She responded. "So what kind of person is your roommate?"

"He is very cold and violent. Nobody messes with him." I told her as I tried to scare her.

"Yeah, sure." She rolled her eyes as she responded back not believing a word I said.

"I'm not joking, princess." I told her.

"Whatever. Anyways, I'm getting tired. I'm going to sleep." She told me as she snuggled in bed.

"Good night." I replied. I got ready for bed, putting on my comfy black hoodie and sweatpants. When I looked back, she was sprawled out across the bed, taking up all the space.

"I knew Granger had bad sleeping habits." I muttered to myself as I walked over to my bed.

As I sat on the edge of my bed, I found myself staring at her. She looked pretty even when she was asleep, with her hair all messy and her face all peaceful. It was weird to think about her like that, considering how we usually acted around each other.

I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to reach out and brush a stray strand of hair away from her face, to feel the warmth of her breath against my skin.

I reached my hand towards her face but then I took it back. I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. Maybe there was more to her than just being a Granger. Maybe she had a softer side too.

But for now, all I could do was climb into bed and try to get some sleep, with the image of her face still stuck in my mind.

When the morning comes, we will go back to being enemies.
