PONYBOY'S POV

Rains been asleep for almost a day. None of us has eaten almost anything, just little bits of crackers. She hasn't moved, moved her eyes or anything. Darry said she had a broken rib bone, he bandages on her and said she would would be fine. I don't think so she hasn't done anything and we tried to stop her from screaming and crying last night then she fainted. I think she broke multiple ribs, I want to take her to the hospital but Darry, Soda, Dally, Two and Steve said she was fine and all she had was a Broken rib. I'm worried about her she was my twin and my little sister who I loved so much. I know she's not always following the rules or doing stuff the way she's told to, but that's way she's so fun. she reminds me of a little Dally.

Flashback

PONYBOY'S POV

Today I had nothing to do I wasn't feeling going to school cause I wasn't feeling good Darry wasn't happy, the only people home were Rain and Dally. Rain was supposedly taking a sick day, which I know now that she had dropped out. Dally had told Rain that they should go to a store and "buy" something. I know what he meant shoplift, Rain said sarcastically "of course I need a new magazine." "Let's go then, Pony your coming with us. Don't argue just get your stuff and meet us outside." "ugh" I said I didn't really want to go but of Darry found out I had stayed at the house alone he'd be angry! We were walking down the street and a blue mustang drove by, I froze. Dally and Rain flicked them off and kept walking, when the Mustang was by I ran a little to catch up. "pony scared of a car, are you." Rain said teasing me, she gets more rebellious when she's around dally. I think she thinks he a role model in her eyes, I told Darry this and he said "no not happening, never in a million years will dally be a role model for Raindrop." When we got to the store Rain walked right over to the coke and magazines, she's a HUGE coke fan me on the hand not so much. Dally walked just around, I've noticed he just steals random stuff. Rain saw this and I think remembered not to run to anything, draws suspicion. She started wandering I just went and found a magazine and started reading. After about 5 minutes some Socs come in. Rain and Dally were around an aisle so they didn't see the Socs, they saw me. Bob walked right up to me and said "a little greaser all by himself". He through a punch, It hit right on the right temple. Rain and Dally came over laughing with something in their jackets, Dally starting running towards the Socs and they fled. Rain was worried I could tell she never acted this gentle. "Oh my god, Pony did they hurt you I should've never been that careful and let you sit by yourself" "I'm ok Bob just punched me right here," I said pointing to my temple. "Rain we should probably go," Dally said. We all left and but Dally and Rain still had the stuff they stole. They were laughing and pointing at the stuff all the way home, I actually think they'd make a good couple. I mean their both rebellious and love to have fun, l don't know if they think the same, whatever. We got back to the house just in time, Soda and Steve had just come back from work. "whata do today Pony?" "Um just stayed home and watched TV." Rain and Dally had told me if I spilled everything I would be in big trouble with Dally, and nobody wants to be in trouble with Dally. "what's on your face there?" Steve asked. Oh shit, the punch it must've bruised. "he fell off the couch when he was sleeping and landed on a apple that you guys left," Rain said saving me. Steve and Soda just said whatever and asked if there was cake.

Ponyboy's POV

I was on "watching Rain duty", witch is basically sittin there watching her to see if she moves. I thought I saw Rain move, I did. "DARRY, SODA, RAIN IS WAKING UP!!" I shouted.

SODAPOPS POV

"RAIN'S WAKING UP" I hear Pony yell from downstairs. I basically fall down the stairs cause I was running so fast to get to her. Darry was right behind me, we got there just as she was opening her eyes. "Soda, pony Darry," she said in a very quiet voice. "Right here," we all said at the. Same time. We were all holding her hand, Darry had his hand on her head. "Do you feel OK Rain?" Pony asked. "Kinda my ribs still really hurt." "You feel really warm, I'm going to bring to the hospital to have them look at your ribs, Pony go call the gang so they can say hi to Rain." Darry said. The gang was over here in no time flat, Dally rushed over to her side "are you OK, you looked in so much pain yesterday." "Ya I'm ok Darry's gonna take me to the hospital to have them look at my ribs, they still hurt." We were all giving Dally a weird look, He's babying her. OH MY GOD he likes Rain, I'm just act cool right now, just act cool.

RAINDROPS POV

I was waking up when I hear someone yelling RAIN'S WAKING UP, I think it was Pony. Soda and Darry come flying down the stairs, I start to open my eyes when I feel I pain in my ribs I push that aside. "Soda,pony, Darry" "Right here," they all said at the same time. Soda and Pony were holding my hand and Darry had his hand on my head. "You feel really warm, I'm gonna take you to the hospital to have them look at your ribs, Pony go call the gang to come say hi to Rain" Darry said. The gang, I haven't seen them in forever, I wanted to tell Darry to call Jack Johnson over bit it hurt to talk. The gang burst through the door, Dally was first he ran right to me and kneeled down. "Are you ok, you looked like you were in so much pain yesterday?" He was being sensitive and soft with me, that's weird. "Ya I'm fine Darry's gonna take me to the hospital to have them look at my ribs, thy still hurt." Everyone was giving me and Dally weird looks, suddenly Soda got look where his eyes got big like he had just figured something out. It hit me Dally likes me!?t
