It's been about 2 weeks since that last mission, and Amari has told no one about the drake egg—not that she had someone to tell in the first place she didn't even tell that king and his advisor. Lately, she has been doing some research about dragon eggs, more specifically drake eggs, and she realized that walking around with a drake egg and information about it out in the open isn't the best idea. So, she had to get a satchel to put it in. Not with the money the king gave her she's saving that. And because she was a wanderer, no one looked twice at the new addition. Why would they? To them, she's just a random girl that they most likely won't see again. There's no need to look twice. In the daytime, she had the egg in the satchel, and at night, she had it in the satchel with her snuggling it to offer some of her body heat. Keeping it warm is very important, as long as it's kept warm, it's alive. That's why sometimes she has to make a fire on really cold nights before she would just deal with it to not risk the fire's smoke drawing attention, but she can't afford that now, so to be alert just in case of an attack when the fire's awake, she's awake.

She can imagine the difference in heat would be jarring for the egg, going from comfortable to barely sustainable, from a grown drake's body heat to a human girl. She sighed, looking at the starry sky with the fire still going. "I won't be able to live how I was before because when they hatch, I'm going to have a baby dragon on my hands. I'll have to feed them a lot and everything. Also, there's no way no one won't notice a baby dragon!" Looking at the sky, she thought. "I'm going to have to find a place to stay, but where?" She sighed, looking at the fire. "I really don't know what I've gotten myself into, do I?

Amari was walking through the forest, rubbing her eyes. Staying up for days at a time really was not doing her any good. It was coming close to time to set up camp, and she just found a good spot to do so. As she was setting up camp, she heard a branch snap. She paused, her eyes darting around. "Dang it, I was not paying attention," she thought. Her hand went slowly to her satchel, keeping a tight hold on it. Then, out of nowhere, an arrow came flying to her as she barely dodged, and she took off, arrows flying past her as one skinned her cheek. "Dang it! I need to lose them! I can't fight without risking the egg!" She gritted her teeth, dodging a few more arrows. Just then, one of the bandits jumped down in front of her. She tried to turn the other way but found herself surrounded by two others on each side. As an arrow shot at her and got caught on the satchel as the strap ripped a bit, the force of it made her stagger as the satchel got knocked off her and one of the bandits took it. "Hey!" she shouted. She tries to grab the satchel, but an arrow is shot at her head as a warning shot. "Don't move." The one in front of her said he looked like the leader of the little group, with her satchel in his hand by the strap. "What do you want? "She asked. "Well, me and my friends were walking past here and saw you with this satchel and couldn't help but wonder what you had inside it, and I got to give it to you whatever it is. It's pretty heavy to be wearing it like a purse like you were." He said with a sly smile. She gritted her teeth, and her eyes darted around. "One left, one right, two in trees with bows in arrows, one behind and one in front," she tsked. "The most I ever fought at once was 5. This is 6 this is going to be difficult, but." She looked at the satchel and then at the ground. As the bandit was about to open it, he paused as Amari said, "Give it back, or I'll beat all your asses." He looked at her for a sec before chuckling and saying, "Now I'm really curious." He opens it, and his eyes widen a bit, seeing what's inside it. As she quickly got her dagger and sent it to one of the bandits in the trees, hitting him in the arm, she grabbed some dirt and sent it in the air. Then she kicked the guy behind her as the bandits drew their swords and swung at her. She dogged one of the swords but got cut by the second one, making a gash on her side, one of the bandits in the trees sent an arrow at her as she got hit by it under her arm, making a gash. One of the bandits ended up punching her, making her stagger she grabbed a sword that was on the ground and blocked an arrow shot at her she then grabbed the arrow and threw it back hitting the bandit in the tree making him drop the bow and fall she then looked up and saw one of the bandits sword coming down at her head and she dogged getting her standard wanderer outfit cut from the shoulder as the sword gets stuck in the ground she gets punched by the leader the force of the punch making a bruise on her cheek.

She staggered into a bush, she turned her head to the side, and saw the bandit that she knocked down, groaning and holding his head. She grabbed him and held him in front of her as a body shied. "Sorry, not sorry," she said to the bandit. She slowly walked back to the others, her sword still in hand as she panted. The bandits froze seeing that she had one of their own with a sword to their back. The leader screamed, "Let him go!" "I will let him go if you return the egg." The other three bandits' eyes widened. "Egg? "One of them questioned, looking at the leader. "You wouldn't," one of the others said. "Try me, bitch."
