Amari panted heavy while running up the mountain with Aaron on her heels. "You thought you could jog up this mountain?! No, I am going to chase you until we get done! And if I catch you, we will be having an extra sparing session!" Amari was sweating not only because of the run but also from that last statement, and she pushed herself to run faster.

Amari could hardly believe that it's been two months since she started her training. Her wound is not fully healed, however, it is getting there, and she's never been in one place so long however, instead of feeling anxious like she expected, she actually felt like she was at home. Even though Aaron was chasing her down and threatening her.

                                                  ***********************************************

A spear swung down sharply. Amari took a deep breath and brought the spear back up again, and repeated the motion. Her brows frowned in concentration, something that was broken when Aaron came up to her and lightly karate chopped her head, saying, "Look at you! Your no longer sticks and bones! Ha! ha!" "Well, I am no longer malnourished, and this place has really helped me, but it's not like I'm going to tell him that," Amari side-eyed him. "Haha, very funny," she said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. She readjusted her spear and went back to practicing while Aaron went to the side and watched.

Sebastion came up beside Aaron and stood beside him, hands in his pockets. "So we are going to the sewers today, right?" Aaron nodded, arms crossed. "Yep." "Who are we bringing?" Sebastion asked, "Just the two stars, Amari and her friend." Sebastion turned and looked at him. "What? Why? Won't it go by faster if we bring everybody else?" "I'm a cautious man. Besides, we should be fine and bring everybody would probably be overkill anyway." "And about Amari's friend? What's their name?" "Milo" Sebastion nodded. "Alright then." He looked over at Amari and shouted, "Make sure not to overdo it today, Amari!" "Shouldn't I be telling you that with how many times you have to run up the mountain after losing to Aaron?" Amari said not missing a beat. Sebastion stays there shocked while Aaron topples over in laughter. That was Amari's second time getting chased that day.

                                              ***********************************************

Amari looked around at the mission group. Over the time Amari stayed there, she noticed that there were very few two stars. The only ones being the people she spared against, of which she learned the name of, and Sebastion, meaning that the Mission group consisted of "me, Jamie (the low two star), Alex (the middle two star), Sebastion, and Aaron-" Amari turned to see Milo jogging down the path. "Milo?! What the hell is he doing here?!"

Flashback

Milo took a deep breath. "You got this..." He muttered to himself. Shaking off all the nerves, he rounded the counter to the training area. When he came around the corner, he saw Sebastion and Aaron finishing a spar with Sebastion, who ran off to do some more laps. Milo shook his hands, steeled himself with a big breath, and walked over to Aaron. Aaron turned around, recognition shining across his face. " Hey! Your Amari's friend, right? Let's see.." He hummed, putting his hand on his chin. "Milo, right?" Milo nodded. "Well, if you're looking for—" Aaron began, but Milo interrupted. "Please bring me with you!" "Eh? "Please bring me with you to the mission to the sewer!" Uh, I don't-" Milo put his hands together, pleading with Aaron to let him go, and continued to do so until he said yes.

End of Flashback

"Shi-!" Milo came to a stop right in front of her. He put his hands on his knees and took deep breaths. "Ok, ok. Clam down maybe he's here to check on the Satchel, be casual." "Well, you look like you ran all the way here." "That's.. because.. I did," he said, taking breaths in-between each word. "By the way, what are you doing here? I didn't know you were coming." Milo scratched the back of his neck. "Right, I didn't tell you. I'm coming on the mission." Amari blinked as Milo started to explain, "I'm tight on money right now, and this was the first thing that came to mind." Amari stared blankly as her mind ran wild. "What am I going to do?! I can't blame him because I get it, but still! What about the egg!? Do I bring it with me or leave it? I mean, it could be dangerous or cold down there. Do I take that risk?" Before her mind could spiral, Aaron started talking. "Alright everybody!" He clapped his hands together to get everybody's attention, which worked. Beside him, on his left, stood Sebastion, paying full attention as Aaron spoke up again. "This should be an easy mission, but stay alert just in case! If everyone is ready, let's go!" "Wait!" a voice that Amari recognized yelled. Aaron turned around fast enough to catch Mya, who hugged Aaron. "Mya?" Amari and Aaron voiced surprised. Aaron patted her hair down as she asked, "Can I come with you? Please?" Aaron shook his head. "We talked about this, Mya," he said in a soft voice. Mya looked at the floor. "It's too dangerous." "I know..." Mya said, "But that's why I want to come with you." Aaron softened, "I'll be ok. Mabey when you're older, but right now I need you to stay here." "Ok..." she said sadly. Amari noticed her down mood and had an idea. "Mya, can you come here for a second?" Amari crouch down to be her height as Mya jogged over. Putting an arm over her shoulder, she whispered to Mya, "I have a job for you, if you're up for it, of course." She smirked as Mya lit up, nodding her head rapidly. "There is something in my room that I need you to guard. It's under my bed, but can I trust you not to peek?" Amari asked as Mya saluted to her, "Of course!" She patted her head as she stood up, she grinned down at Mya, but then Mya hugged her leg. She smiled softly as Mya whispered, "Stay safe," holding on to Amari's leg. "Of course," she whispered back, but Mya didn't let go. After a few seconds, Amari spoke again. "Uh, Mya? We have to go..." Mya latched on with her legs. Amari looked at Aaron and Sebastion for help and tried to move her leg, but Mya kept hanging on. "Help!" She whispered-shouted, much to the amusement of everyone there. As she keeps shaking her leg, with Mya stubbornly hanging on, Milo laughed, saying, "Looks like you have a mini admirer." Amari turned to him and said, "Shut up and help me!" Sebastion held his stomach, trying to contain his laughter, Aaron was full-blown cackling, Milo turned his head away, snickering with Alex and Jamie, who were chucking.

                                               *******************************************

After finally getting Mya to let go, they're on their way to the sewer. Amari and Milo were talking before Sebastion came up to them. "Hey, your Milo, right? Sorry to interrupt, but I figured you should at least know all of our names before the mission." Milo nodded his head. "That makes sense." As Sebastion introduced everyone to Milo, they came to a stop in front of the sewer, and everyone checked their things as some people who passed them speared them a glace. Amari turned her head when she heard someone call her name. "Amari!" Both Otto and Oliver came up to her with Otto smiling big. Amari grinned, "Otto! Oliver!" They came to a stop in front of her. "How is that wound treating you, kid? Are you eating enough?" Oliver asked "Much better then when I got it, and it'll be all healed soon. And as for eating, well." She looked at the group before looking back at them. "I'm pretty sure they're stuffing me with food," Oliver chuckled. "So everyone will finally see your face, huh?" Otto said, smirking, "Eh, I don't know about that, there is still the smell after all," Amari said teasingly, causing Otto to chuckle. "Speaking of which," Otto said with a grin, "We know how much you hate the smell, and I know your mask got ripped up so..." Oliver took out the mended mask. "We sewed it up!" Oliver handed Amari the mask, which she took with a surprised expression. The mask had noticeable stitches as Otto rambled about not being good at sewing. "Thank you." When she looked back up, they were smiling. "No problem, kid." "Your welcome."

Amari put on her new mask over her bandages because, while yes, her bandages were blocking most of the smell, she was going into a sewer, so she'll take what she can get. Besides, "It's a gift, I'll be damned if I don't use it." She took a deep breath. "I just hope the egg will be fine." She thought as she went down the latter.
