Amari was gritting her teeth and sweating while running up the mountain, trying to keep up with Sebastion and Aaron, who were running far ahead of her and talking to each other. She stumbled but didn't stop running with only one thought in her head "I will keep my promise." Sebastion and Aaron were way ahead of her, and Aaron turned his head slightly back and shouted, "Make sure to keep up, Amari!" Amari pushed forward, weaving through the trees.

Amari gasped, trying to regain her breath, as she waved at Otto and Oliver, and she ran past the stand. Amari's calves ached and every stride required effort, yet her determination remained unwavering as she sprinted back to the base, where Aaron had just finished sparring with Sebastion and was eagerly awaiting her return.

"You can't stay still! Keep moving!" Aaron shouted as Amari sidestepped and swung her spear as he watched attentively. She gripped her spear, she again lost count of what number she was on, and again, her arms felt wobbly, and her hands felt like they were burning, but she didn't stop. She shifted, jumping back and swinging her spear in a downward motion. As the image of the dying drake appeared, the look of hope and desperation. She doesn't know why the drake trusted her, but it won't be in vain, she'll make sure of it.

Amari was on the ground out of breath and bruised. Aaron looked at her. "Get up." Her finger twitched, her whole arm felt so... heavy. "What happened to all the determination I saw? Are you going to stop? I don't know why you're so motivated, but my guess is it's something important to you. Maybe you need to protect it or help it. I don't know, but you're not going to be able to do any of that if you don't, Get up!" Amaris eyes widened. "How are you going to protect or help it if you lie here!?" She lifted her arm and slowly pushed her body up. "This training might feel like hell, but what are you going to do about it?! Are you going to lie there and stay this weak? Or are you going to get up and deal with it?!" She raised to her legs. "I'll deal with it," she gritted out. "Then GET THE HELL UP!" Aaron shouted, "Get the hell up and charge at me!" Amari stood up fully, her entire body shaking with bruises, scratches, and fatigue. Her hair was all over the place, but despite that, her face was set, and she jumped up in the air, coming down at Aaron, who had a grin on his face. And the gang members that were there cheered.

Amari looked at Milo as he talked about his day. "Then that guy just ran!" "What?" she asked, chuckling a bit. "Yeah! Like, how are you just going to try to use MY bow without asking, mind you, then I catch you and you run? Like what???" "And that was another city guard?" "Yep, some are just assholes." He grumbled. She raised an eyebrow. "You seem a bit... protective of that bow of yours." He nodded. "I am. You just don't mess with an Archers bow. You know?" She hummed "Anyway, how was your training?" he asked. "In short, hell." She looked at the ceiling and lightly smiled, "But I'll deal with it. By the way, did I tell you about how I was treated like a noble at the hotel I was at? "Although I did pay a gold coin..." "You what?!" "What? That place was expensive."

A spear was going through the air, missing the target, a rabbit who ran off. Amari pouted, picking up her spear from the spot it landed. Sebastion came up from behind her, "Don't worry, you'll get it soon. In the meantime, here's a tip, tilt your spear like this it's better for throwing." Amari nodded as a gang member came up to them, "Hey guys! Boss said that we've got enough. Come on!"

Dinner was wild, some laughed, others talked and yelled, but the atmosphere was free and light, and Amari couldn't help but relax. "Excuse me?" she looked down and saw Mya looking at her shyly. Some gang members, including Aaron and Sebastion, cheered Mya on, but Amari didn't see them. "Oh, your Mya, right?" she asked softly. Mya nodded before nervously asking, "Can you play with me? L-Later I mean," Amari blinked before her eyes softened. "Sure," she said.

Amari held the egg close to her as she lay on the bed. She yawned and out at her window. It was late night, and the moon glowed brightly, casting an ethereal glow in her room, the stars shone with a distant light. She pulled the egg closer. "This is going to be a long two mouths..." Despite saying that, Amari fell asleep with a small smile on her face.
