Jay's pov
"sonu !" (Nickname jay gave to avni)
Tapping her back
"Yess jay" Avni with her cool but not cool voice.
We were heading towards Atharva. Avni was riding the scooty and i was at the backseat. I grabbed her from the back.
Her stiff reaction was a sign that she was shocked with my action but didn't try to remove it
"Sonu" i repeated again
"What jay . If you want to say something just say ." Her voice showed that she was getting irritated
"You know na I love irritating you. Sonu !"
She didn't say anything just rolled her eyes
"Sonu ! About that night when we talked. Look i was wrong and ...."
" Jay. Forget it."
Her words confused me but still i didn't dare to say anything. I knew that this would be her answer but why her answer didn't satisfy me.
Thinking for a while my thought said
"I am with aaradhya now and i am happy with her. I can't feel like this for sonu. I will spoil our friendship."
Fear of losing her scared me. I wasn't aware about this feeling i had but I agree with my thoughts as this was the best option.

Avni 's pov
Jay's question astonished me . I was prepared about him to bring up this topic. But still everything went vague when that question came up. And my unconscious involuntary mind said
"Jay. forget it".
But after that he went into complete silence and it seems like this wasn't the answer he was expecting. I cursed myself from inside for that immature and vague response.
But I didn't interrupt or tried to explain to him because it was no point . Because neither he is mine nor he will ever be.
My different feeling for him was not satisfied with his silence but i recited in my thoughts
"I am with aarnav now and i am happy with him. I can't feel this way for jay. I have to bury that feeling of mine or I will spoil our friendship."
He has aaradhya and he is happy with him. I can't lose him. So avni this is the best option.
