Garnet's Dream

Garnet felt the boulders slamming into her back, a yell of pain escaping her lips as small, sharp rocks cut her physical form, luckily none striking her gems. Suddenly the weight was gone as she was thrown into complete darkness, she slowly got up with a confused expression, looking around to get her bearings. She found herself alone in the temple, in the bubble room. To her surprise, the room was completely empty, every gem they had ever captured, gone. Behind her she heard three bubbles appear, she turned to see what was behind her and she gasped at the sight, the gems of Pearl, Amethyst, and Steven, all broken. Garnet dropped to her knees and held back a scream, instead letting tears flow down her cheeks, both Sapphire and Ruby crying as they thought of the people they had thought as their family, dead. A movement around her caused her to turn her head slowly, Rose Quarts standing over her and offering a hand to help her up. "Garnet..." Rose spoke softly, "You must awaken soon, or this is all that will be left of your friends, please, save them. Save Pearl, Amethyst, and my son..." As soon as Rose appeared she was gone, along with the room and the gems.

Garnet's enraged screams filled the air as she broke through the rubble, behind her glasses fury filled her eyes. She took out her weapon and charged the beast. Giving Steven time to speak with Connie. "You have to get out of here! You'll get killed!" He said with his voice full of fear that she would be hurt, she sighed and responded calmly. "Steven, you know Pearl trained me for this, to protect you." She smiles softly at him, her trembling hand taking his as Lion appears to hand her the scabbard of Rose's sword. She takes it and tries to unsheathe it with no effect. She turns to Steven and looks him in the eye "Steven, we should form Stevonnie, to defeat this thing." Steven hesitates before taking her hand and leading her in a dance, they soon fuse with a flash of light, gaining the attention of the preoccupied Armawidow. It began walking towards the fusion until it stopped, seeing the scabbard fall to the ground without the sword, which was firmly held in Stevonnie's hands. 'Ready Connie?' Steven internally asked. 'Ready.' And with that, they attacked swiftly.
