Bonus:Christmas Special!

A/N:After so long, here it is everybody! Sorry for the wait.

Steven waited eagerly for his friend Connie, finally seeing her walking up the steps to his room. Her parents were finally letting them spend a Christmas together for the first time! Well...the day after Christmas but still, they would take what they could get. He turns and gives everything a final look over, nodding to himself and turning back to greet her at the door. She was carrying a bag, curious, she didn't say she was bringing anything except for the gifts...he wondered what it could be.

After opening the door and letting her in he explained that the gems were on a mission and would be back a bit later, when they would have dinner. This gave Connie and Steven time to open their gifts to each other, and for Connie to set up her master plan. She was going to teach Steven all of her favorite traditions, and she was going to get his help setting up some mistletoe to mess with the gems. It would be so much fun!

First was gift giving, both best friends knew exactly what to get each other, Connie getting Steven a copy of Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Steven getting Connie the entire collection of "Under the Knife." Next came traditions, Connie told Steven about ugly sweaters, Christmas crackers, carols, and some other things she had fond memories of doing on the holidays with her family. They eventually set up the mistletoe above the doorway in front of the warp pad, snickering and waiting for the gems to come back and walk through. They both placed bets on who would have to kiss who, Steven guessing Pearl and Amethyst while Connie guessed Pearl and Garnet. While discussing the guesses they heard the warp pad activate and quiet footsteps, they looked up and saw that the gems were walking in a line that didn't allow any of them to be under the mistletoe with another gem. "What's up guys?" Amethyst asked with her signature laugh, popping up behind the kids. They shouted from surprise but it turned into laughing, with the other gems walking beside Amethyst. The children told the gems about the fun and without them noticing, the gems got slowly closure and they moved back. Garnet used her future vision to see that almost every timeline had the mistletoe in the doorway, so she decided to tell the others and they formulated a plan to get the kids under it together. Garnet spoke up once they were directly under the decoration, snickering and pointing up. Connie blushed a little as she saw it and Steven attempted to say something but was too shy. After a long moment of stuttering and blushing, the kids faced each other. They moved slowly towards each other until Garnet pushed them together with her hands, making their lips connect for a second before they squeaked and scooted away from each other. The awkwardness lasted only a little longer before Amethyst made a mildly inappropriate joke and was scolded by Pearl, causing the children to laugh. Soon they ate dinner...well, Connie, Steven, and Amethyst did. Pearl and Garnet decided to pass, making the excuse that they needed to clean up. "Thanks Connie, this was a really fun Christmas..." Steven says quietly, she could tell that he was including the moment with the mistletoe, and in all honesty she couldn't say it wasn't fun either.
