Isn't it beautiful how we met?
All the secrets that we kept,
Shining during the twilight as it sets.
Who am I?
I don't know anymore,
Is it just me or will the darkness last evermore?
I love the way it shines,
The way it glides,
The way it makes me smile.
I know it's not forever,
Yet, I want to live in it.
It gave me pain,
It gave me sorrow,
But it will never be more than mellow.
From the moment it made me smile,
To the moment it made me whine,
I will cherish it forever despite the regime.
It ain't a bond to be forgotten,
It ain't a bond to be riven,
It is the bond which needs to be written,
In the hearts of those fellow citizens.
