Our Story Which we Carved Upon (Caelus x Firefly Story)

Season 1, Episode 2: A New Friendship

"My mother really loves Xianzhou cuisine, I once tried cooking it and ended up disastrous." Firefly said, in a awkward smile.

It's been a few hours since the event that took hold in the alleyway, Firefly started smilling wider, leaving whatever bad omen behind, and enjoy the present bestowed by the Aeons.

Caelus smiled awkwardly as he never really got to enjoy a walk, or even went to go on and grocery shopping with someone.

"I'll probably need some of these...and these...and those...and.." Firefly, brainstorms her head on recipes she's about to buy in the next hour. Calling this a simple grocery shopping was an understatement.

Eventually, she founds what she needs and bought some. And Caelus bought some pasta, particularly, Fettucine, and 2 small boxes of milk. With a few garlic cloves and onions.

Caelus went on to the cashier with Firefly and placed their groceries together. The cashier scanned all the items inside and then placed the items inside bags, seperating Firefly and Caelus's groceries.

"So, your payment method Sir?" The Cashiers asks Caelus his payment method.

Caelus reached out for his wallet and brought out a golden-yellow ticket with an orange line. In which, he scanned the ticket onto a debit card scanner.

The scan completed successfully, and he payed all of them. Unbeknownst to Firefly.

"Alright, Sir, i'll pay mine now.." Firefly said, whilst reaching for her credits in her wallet.

"There's no need, young lady. The gentleman over there already payed for your items." The cashier replies to Firefly.

"..what?"

"He..didn't mention it to you?"

"...no."

Firefly bowed to the Cashier and then walked to Caelus. In which, the Cashier did wave to Firefly, though, Firefly already walked before seeing the wave.

She approaches Caelus and asks.

"You payed...for my groceries?"

"Heh, can't help it." Caelus smiled lightly. "I just want to make you feel better after what happened in the last few hours. You could really need it." Caelus said in a light yet sad tone. Since it really clenched his heart when he saw Firefly getting attacked like that.

"But...i don't know how to repay you.." Firefly looks down in a little confusion, thinking how she'd repay Caelus's kindness.

In which, Caelus then grabs Firefly's grocery bag, and said. "Be my tour guide then! Im new to this town, and i'd love someone to tour me around this megalopolis."

"..Really? But that's way too underpriced for how my groceries cost—"

"It's okay! Really! You just need to tour ne around this city sometime." Caelus said, full of energy. Right now, it's getting dark and Firefly is definently tired. Caelus checks his phone and tome struck 18.45

He asks.

"Say, where's your home? It's getting really late and i should escort you home. I don't want you to get stuck in such things again." Caelus said, with a both relaxed and serious face when talking about the event.

Firefly then took one of Caelus's hand...well...wrist and walked to her Café. "Right this way!"

Caelus just went along with her movement and walked together with..uh..Firefly, gripping on his wrist.

He did not mind it, in fact, he really enjoyed it. Her hands are silky smooth, like how March's pillow felt. And her pillow costs at least 60k Credits. But Firefly's hand feels way more smoother than March's pillow could ever feel.
