Episode 4: New School

Terri:

At Pleasant Hills High, the school became different than Degrassi. There are cliques, bullies, drugs and fights. The jocks can't talk because they have to focus on the sport. Nerds focus on homework and games. Sometimes it's chaotic here at Pleasant Hills. I wish sometimes I was still at Degrassi. I miss it. I hate that I had to move to a new place.

I made a new friend, Tessa Jones. And found out that she is the cousin of Mia. I'm happy that someone showed me around the school. I'm happy that I ended up getting a boyfriend that is a jock. His name is, Josh. He treats me a whole lot better than my last boyfriend. Trust me.

Joshua takes Terri on a date after school. They go bowling and out to eat at a nice diner. Tessa and Matt go bowling with them too. It became a double date.

They are treated very badly by white people. If Bob Robinson was white
He would not have been guilty. The next day, many people send gifts to Atticus. They respect him because
He is a very great lawyer. He defended
Bob Robinson in a very good way. The
Black community are also very happy
Because Atticus is white and he defended an innocent black man.
He is best lawyer in Maycomb but even Atticus could not help Bob Robinson. Alison and Jem are very sad. They know that Bob Robinson
Is innocent. He could not have attacked Mayella. Now Bob Robinson
Is going to jail for a crime he did not
Commit. Racism is a big problem in
Maycomb. It is like a disease. Black people do not have any power in Maycomb. There are no black policemen. There are no black lawyers.
The black community is poor. All of Maycomb is talking about the trial of Bob Robinson. It is in the local newspaper. Jem and Alison go and see
Miss Maudie. She tells them that Atticus tried his best. Some other white people wanted to help Bob Robinson but he was the victim of racial discrimination. Miss Maudie
Is also sad because an innocent man
Is going to jail. A lot of white people
In Maycomb are happy because
Bob Robinson has to go to jail. They are racist. Rumple Ewell sees Atticus
In the street. He spits in his face.
Also Rumple Ewell says he will get revenge. When Alison and Jem hear that their father has been insulted and
Threatened they are angry. Atticus
Tells them not to be angry. He says Rumple Ewell will not do anything.
In the evening Aunt Alexandra shouts
At Alison. This is because Alison wants to invite Walter Cunningham to her house for dinner even it's their 5th date. He is in her class at school. Walter's family is very rich. Aunt Alexandra does not like poor people so she loves rich people. She is a snob.
Aunt Alexandra will not allow Walter to come to their house tonight. Alison
Is upset. She goes to her bedroom. Jem comes to see her. He tells her
Alison not to be sad. Jem says that Aunt Alexandra is a snob. The next
Day, something tragic happens. Atticus comes home. He is very sad.
Atticus tells his family that Bob Robinson is dead. He tried to escape from jail and saw shot by a policeman.
Even Aunt Alexandra is very upset when she finds out that Bob was dead.
Atticus has to go and tell Bob Robinson's family that he is dead. In
Autumn, Dill comes to Maycomb.
Alison tells him what happened to Bob
Robinson. Dill did not know that Bob
Robinson was dead. He is very sad.
Alison tells Dill about the day she went
With Atticus to Bob Robinson's house.
His wife name is Felicia. She fell to
The ground when she found out that
Her husband was dead. Felicia has got two small children. Her husband is dead and she has no money. Atticus felt very sorry for Felicia. In a local
Newspaper there is an article about the death of Bob Robinson. Some people say he did not try and escape
From jail. A policeman may have shot him. To kill an innocent man is like
Shooting a mockingbird.
