At school, Matt breaks up with Tessa in the morning before class.
Terri and Josh are a happy couple. They plan on getting a job together.
There is a new student named, Grayson. Conner and Evan befriends him and shows him around the school.
Meanwhile, Terri heads over to Josh's house to study before the SAT's. At random, Josh's brother thanks Terri for being a good influence on Josh, especially because of what Josh has been through. Terri asks Josh later what his brother meant by this, and Josh then tells her how he got in trouble a while back at Wasaga because he got in a fight with another kid and deafened him in one ear. Josh is stressed out over exams, especially over his SAT test, and is convinced that he failed it. The pressure gets to Josh and when little comments from Jake toss him over the edge, one thing leads to another, and Josh and Jake are fighting after school. Terri comes and tries to stop the fight, but the anger gets a hold of Josh, and he accidentally pushes her down. When Josh tries to apologize to Terri, realizing his mistake, Terri is scared and avoids him. The next day, Sean finds out from Mrs. Morrison that he actually did well on his test. Josh then apologizes to Terri for yesterday and tells her about his grade but she doesn't forgive him.
