I woke up the next morning to clark moving me. " Wake up, udaya."said clark,
" What? " I said, rubbing my eyes

" percy isn't here," he said, which cause me to strike up.

" Where is he?" I asked, folding my sleeping bags.
" Good morning, " said percy as I turned around.
" Where were you?" I said, giving him a hug.
" I was at chirons office," he said, looking to the ground.
" I'm going on a quest," he said, giving me a hug, but this time, it was like a goodbye hug.
" You're going to be okay," I said as clark joined the hug as percy started laughing.

HALF HOUR LATER

I was standing next to Luke as percy was going to pick the camper that was going to companion him to his quest.

" Annabeath," I hear Annabeth. This was going to be her first quest, which means she would leave, and she could get hurt even worse die. Luke saw my reaction.
" udaya, are you okay your kinda pale,"he said, approaching me

"Yeah, I think I need to sit down," I said, waving my face with my hand as Luke checked my temperature while calling over one of the apollo kids

"Annabeth is going to be okay," he said, hugging me. "The same goes for you." I said

ANNABETH POV

I was packing my stuff as udaya was sitting on her bed

" Hey, annie," she said, standing up

" I have something for you," she said as I turned around, handing me a golden ring
" This ring is a protective ring, and it will keep you safe," she said as she motioned to take off my necklace and slide the ring into it
" Here, now you will always be protected,
" she said with little tears in her eyes. I couldn't imagine how this could be affecting her after the Rob and Clair situation
"remember sometimes its good to be selfish," she said, telling me all the things she had in a list until we stopped
" Okay see you in when you come back " I said giving her a hug as I started walking to Thalia tree hopefully we will make it in time for her birthday the beginning of the summer solicit her 17  birthday.
