Kim Hye-soo
She woke up with a throbbing headache. Sleeping through the entire morning didn't really help and what's worse is that she's starving. After calling for a room delivery service, she then checked her phone on what she had missed. She still keeps getting messages from friends who checks in on her and she feels extremely grateful and supported.
Most of the texts were from her manager, Park Joon-myeon, who begs to know where she went hiding. When Hye-soo first learned of what happened, she told her manager that she needs time for herself and luckily all her ongoing and upcoming commitments agreed to reschedule. She made all the arrangements for this vacation herself, not telling a single soul where she would go.
The remaining messages were from him, the last person she would want to see right now. Many times she thought of blocking his number but she can't bring herself to. They've been together for years and she even thought they would end up in marriage. She loves him. She's mad and hurt right now but she knows she still love him. It was not something she can quickly forget about.
She shook her head to prevent her from dwelling into her thoughts. She's here to forget and she needs to focus on herself for now.
She went over to her luggage which she haven't unpacked yet and chose from her set of bikinis and dresses. Finally deciding to wear the black floral dress, she changed up and headed to the pool area.

"Excuse me, do you need anything?" She asked the man before her.
It was too early to call him a stalker but she noticed the moment she passed by him at the elevator that he's been following her. He looked out of place, wearing a formal ensemble at the pool area.
"Sir?" She asked catching his attention.
"You don't remember me?" He asked, a little too surprised and somehow relieved.
"Do I have to?" She asked a little annoyed but seeing that he was a little taken aback possibly by her sharp tone, she rephrased her question. "Sorry, I don't remember meeting you. Have we met before?"
"We met last night at the bar. I made you walk out on me and I would like to apologize if I ever made you feel uncomfortable. I was just trying to initiate a conversation. I never meant anything else."
Her brows creased, trying to recollect the memory. "Ohh.. I see. I didn't really looked at you so I'm sure I won't remember. But it's fine, no need to apologize."
He made a sigh of relief which she found rather amusing. Maybe he was really bother by the encounter, she thought.
"Would that be all? Are we okay now?" She asked hoping for the man to leave but he did otherwise.
"May I?" He asked, pointing to the lounge chair beside her.
She's been rethinking if she's a bad judge of character but the man seemed harmless so she agreed.
"Sure.. though you seem a little overdressed to be here." She said and offered him a weak smile.
"Jung Woo-sung." The man introduced and extended his hand for a shake.
"Kim Hye-soo." She said, taking his hand.
"I learned about you the hard way." Woo-sung made a comment which made her confused.
"Apparently, I've been living under a rock so I didn't know who you were. Well, not until last night." He chuckled.
"Really?" She asked, not quite believing his claim.
