Chapter 3

I woke up really early this morning. Everyone else was still a sleep I thought. I looked around and everyone seemed a sleep so I tried to stand up. It didn't work so wait was on my stomach, so I looked down and saw Luna and Bear sleeping on me. So I lifted the two wolf pups off me. Then I sat them on the ground next to me. Soon after I got up I went over to the truck were Melody was sleeping. "Mel wake up come on Mel" I spoke quietly to her. "Ahhhhhh" Melody screamed waking everyone else up. "Why did you scream" Grover yelled getting up. "It wasn't a dream" she whispered. "No it wasn't" I responded to her "we are all very awake right now". "Well what now" Jake asked Grover. "We start walking to town" I said "then from town get a ride to New York City then Long Island". "Okay let's get going" I said as I grab my bag as the others grab theirs as well.

"Finally we made it" Melody said as we walked into town."It wasn't so bad" I said "Let's just go buy some train tickets and keep moving it will take four hours to reach New York okay". "Sounds good to me" said Grover." After we bought the tickets we got on board a train for New York. We'll New York here we come.

We're finally here I always wanted to come two New York City. I mean I love Missouri but New York City is a mystery to me, and that means adventure and I really like a good adventure. I mean who doesn't.

" Hey Grover now where are we going now " Melody asked. " Now we need to get a taxi and head to Long Island" he replied. "Why " asked Jake, " because that's where camp is " Grover answered. 'Now how do we hell a cab' I thought as Grover flipped a coin and called out "I hail the great chariot of damnation" x, and a ghostly cab appears. I didn't like it but we had to get in and Grover gave them an address on Long Island." You now we really never allow dogs in here but for you special one we will " said one of the ladies.

As we got out of New York City we drove straight through a tree Melody and Grover just barely pulled me and Jake aside before we hit the tree and I almost lost the pups in the process.Then all of a sudden as we traveled in a blur, we stopped and herd a roar. Then the cab disappeared from under us, and we turned around to see a dog, no not a dog. It was a Hell Hound ( he was all black with blue eyes ), and it was chasing us. Then all of a sudden I herd a deep voice inside my head saying " I must catch them " hearing that fraise made me stop, and gave me an idea. As the others keep running ( I know nice friends right ) I pulled out a tennis ball I had bought for Luna and Bear. I started waving it in the air as I whistled. Everyone stopped as I yelled at my friends to keep going. I got the hell hounds a tension and started to talk to him " hey buddy what's your name, I'm Courtney do you think we might get along " I said. As he got closer he saw Luna and Bear and I think my necklace as well. " your the special one, hm it seems your the one I was sent to protect" he said " well then why were you chasing us " I asked " because the way you and your friend looked I thought you two were empousai, you see I've been protecting this camp waiting for you. I'm here to serve and protect you, and my name is up to you to decide" he answered. " thank you " I said and I gave his a dark blue bandana to tie around his neck. Then I turned to my friends and told them " hey guys it's alright this is Sirius and he is here to protect me ".
