Loud car music and Drunken laughter was what woke me up from sleep.
I turned towards my bedside table to switch on my alarm clock and yes, it's still midnight because it has 2:45AM boldly written on it.
I am sure my neighbors are going to file another noise complain to the estate president but that's typical Emily and Sandra behavior.
Party with their current rich male friends of the week and either not come home at all or come home drunk and late.
I slept off waiting for them to come home, not like they care but they are my roommates and as my work friend would tell me, too nice for my own good.
I can hear the creaking sound of the gate opening and the loud sound of a car dashing off so I'm sure they are heading up.
I flip off my duffet and throw my legs off the bed down to the ground trying to find my slippers in the dark.
Don't ask me why we don't have light, because Sandra suddenly had amnesia and forgot to pay the light bill again.
I manuover my hands blindly near my pillow and found my phone under the pillow.
Switching on my phone Torchlight, I finally found my slippers under my bedside table.
"Kpa! kpa!! kpa!!" was the sound I heard from the door immediately I stood up from my bed. I'm very sure it's Sandra knocking, she has the least patience.
"I'm coming" I hollered from my room as I opened my door and stepped out towards the house door.
"It took you long enough to open the door" was what Emily said as she sauntered into the house immediately i opened the door with Sandra right behind her giving me an impatient look as they entered their room.
No thank you for opening the door or Sorry for interrupting my sleep.
You would have thought I was their maid not a roommate or should I say housemate since we don't share the same room. The house has two bedrooms and a sitting room and the plan was for two people to take the two bedrooms, and the last person the sitting room but Sandra and Emily clicked over drinks one night and started sharing Sandra's room.
How we met to even start sharing a house is another story entirely because Yes, we are like water and fire which doesn't mix.
I just wish I am able to get enough sleep and not pass my bus stop because I was sleeping on the bus again like the last time Emily kept me up all night with the noise her and her boyfriend of the week were making in her room was my thought as I entered my room with the help of my phone Torchlight.
I really need to remind Sandra to pay the light bill tomorrow because I'm certainly not paying it again like last month.
I don't think I remembered to tell you my name... Let's get formally introduced tomorrow, sleep calls.
