DAMIAN'S JOURNAL
It's been a few months without M/N. I wonder what he's been up to, if he's safe or even still alive. I mean he is an assassin for the league, it's not uncommon for people to go missing or to end up dead. I wouldn't be surprised if they're holding him hostage. If they haven't then I'd be even more surprised.

It's been a few months since that last incident and I stopped being Damian's personal guard... kind of. My position has simply changed to watch over him and intervene when necessary. My job is no longer to protect him at the first sight of danger, now it's simply to watch the boy grow into an adult.
Once he's 18 I'll be free of my duties and I'd be able to retire from this life style in about 3 maybe four years. I have no clue what I'll do but when the time comes I'm sure I'll know, but for now I have to watch over Damian. He's sleeping so that means I get time to myself, not watching over him I mean so I'll probably write in this journal I found some other time.

It's been roughly 6 months since I last opened this journal, nothing new happened. Nothing new with Damian and nothing new with th League.... that's worth noting anyway.

It's been a year, Damian is a year older, it hurts seeing him grow up... seeing him grow into a strong individual. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if he didn't get out of the league when he did.

It's been 2 months and today I finally got to talk Damian again, he had spotted me when he was fighting with The Batman. He didn't want to leave so I did... that hurt, like a lot because it felt like I was abandoning him again.

It's been a few years, Damian grew, like a lot and I couldn't be more proud of him. Today I finally get released from my duties, I enjoyed my time watching over Damian and saving him when he needed it.
I think that this will be my last journal as I won't be needing it anymore, thank you to whoever found this and is reading it. I hope you enjoyed.
A/N: this will probably be my last book for a while because I am going to things rn. I enjoyed this and I hope the ending doesn't feel rushed or anything, I kind of had a hard time figuring out how to write it.
