Every Last One of Them

Disappearance

   "Finally, I swear, how dumb are those stupid adventurers?! Eating mushrooms they probably can't even pronounce!" Tighnari sighed tiredly, wiping the dirt off his shoulders.
Tighnari carefully reached into his bag, grabbing his notebook and a small bento made by Collei.
Tighnari looked around and eventually found a fallen tree trunk. He sat down on it and carefully unwrapped his slightly burnt pita pocket.

  As Tighnari ate he sketched the mushroom in front of him, carefully trying to observe every detail.
Suddenly, Tighnari heard loud footsteps approaching, which was uncommon in this area of the forest. Tighnari carefully rewrapped his half eaten pita pocket and sat them back in his bag. Tighnari eventually saw someone in the distance, just staring.
Although it was not the first time he had had an experience similar to this with sick scholars, this certain encounter made him feel somewhat uneasy.

"Hello?" Tighnari shouted to the stranger.

Silence followed

  "Uhh... are you okay?" Tighnari hesitantly walked closer, leaving only 3 three between the two.
The stranger was awfully... strange.
It seemed like Tighnari blinked for a moment when he suddenly felt himself getting pushed into a tree, that ... thing ... trying to bite his arm. Tighnari was too stunned to move for a moment, before eventually regaining his ability to move, and quickly stabbing it with his arrow.

"Ha! I won again!" The white haired matra exclaimed. "Whatever, I just have less experience than you." Collei sighed, gathering the carefully packaged TCG cards.

"One more game?"
"Actually... no thanks"
"Woah... never in a million years would I expect you to turn down TCG"

  Cyno nodded silently before putting the TCG deck away.

"You okay? You seem uneasy"
"Yeah, it's just that Tighnari has been gone for way longer than he promised to be."
"That's true, but I wouldn't stress about it."

Cyno shivered at the sudden gust of coldness in the air. "Thanks, anyway, you need to get to bed!"

Collei happily nodded, and walked off to go brush her teeth.
