We pulled into the driveway of the beach house after seven. My first impression of the house was that it was beautiful. Not too big, but not too small that's we'd invade each other's space. Chris grabbed our bags and we walked to the porch, waiting for someone to open the door for us.

"You're here!" Matt said, opening the door. "We thought you guys pulled over and had se-"

Chris cut him off by shoving a duffel bag into his chest, forcing him to grab it.

We stepped into the foyer and closed the door behind us. I was greeted by the spacious area, with couches and a TV, where the twins and Mike were playing video games. To one side of the living area, was a kitchen and an eating area beside it.

Nate was standing in the kitchen, and my stomach turned when he waved at me. I looked away, but before he could comment, Madison and Callie appeared at the top of the stairs

"Sabrina! Finally! Come look at the view!" Callie exclaimed and I don't waste time following her up the stairs. Anything to avoid Nate. I don't know if I'll be able to face him at all over these two weeks.

Matt followed us with my bag since he refused to let me carry it when I offered, and Chris stayed behind to say hi.

"There are three rooms downstairs. Matt is in one, Chris is in the other and Mike and I are in the bigger one" Madison explained. "This room here is Nate and Jack's, the one at the end of the hall is for the twins, and this is yours and Callie's"

"How did Matt and Chris get rooms by themselves and everyone else has to share?" I asked, out of curiosity.

"We figured Chris should get a room to himself since he just came out of jail" Matt joked and I laughed, even though I shouldn't.

"And how did you get a room?" I asked him.

"We put Nate's, Matt's and Jack's name in a hat, and the name we pulled out is who got the room"

"And I didn't rig it, despite with Nate says" Matt defended himself, loud enough for Nate to hear him from the kitchen.

"You're lying!" Nate called back.

"He's jealous he's not good looking, funny, smart, talented and lucky like I am" Matt joked, opening the door to the room Callie and I would be sharing.

My eyes were drawn to the king sized bed for no other reason other than Jack lying on it, looking through a magazine.

"Hey Sabrina" he said casually. Madison and Callie shrugged.

The room was beautiful, but apparently we got the nicest room because we got the balcony. Matt put my bag on the dresser and sat down beside Jack, while Madison, Callie and I went to the balcony.

"Callie, did you end up punching someone for this room?" I teased, wondering how we landed the balcony and the beautiful view.

"They let us have it since you're paying for our food and stuff" Callie said as we walked back into the room.

"Technically it's Chris' money" I clarified. "He should get first pick"

Madison scoffed. "Have you met the guy? He wouldn't let us give him the better room instead of you"

I hid my blush behind my hair.

"Speaking of" Callie continued. "You promised details. You and Chris. Kissing. For how long? Spill!"

"Yeah, give us the deets" Matt squealed, copying Callie. All that did was earn him three glares and Jack found it hilarious.

"Okay, out you two. Go make some food if you're bored" Madison demanded, opening the door and pointing into the hallway.

They don't move, but Jack looks at Matt. "Are you hungry?"

Matt smiled. "I could eat"

They got up and headed out the door.

"I want cheese on my burger!" I called after him as Madison shut the door.

Her and Callie turn to me, looking at me like we were stranded on an island and I was their last hope of survival. I wish Jack and Matt were still here.

"Are you going to tell us or are we going to have to force it out of you?" Madison threatened.

"Sit down and I'll tell you" I sighed, preparing myself for Callie's squeals and Madison's interrogation.

"When did you guys become official?" Callie asked

"We're not official. We haven't had that awkward conversation yet and we technically haven't been on a real date"

I know Chris and I have a deep connection. I know his secrets and he knows mine, but I can't tell them that. I still haven't figured out how to tell him I was leaving in a few weeks. I've been trying not to think about it, but he has to understand. Right?

"When was your first kiss? It looks like he has a pass to kiss you whenever he wants" Callie smiled, really happy for me .

I tell them about our first kiss. I tell them how I avoided him after because I was scared. I don't tell them about my confession to Chris about my past, but I told them after he was arrested, we cleared the air and just had a connection.

"I'm happy for you guys! If there's anyone that can put him in his place, it's you" Madison laughed

"I'm happy for you too! I'm totally not trying to think about how you two can go on super cute double dates and I'll get ditched at home" Callie said, I think only half joking.

"It's okay, Callie. I don't see Chris and I going out on a date and ditching you anytime soon"

"That just means Callie is next on the boyfriend list" Madison joked. "You got your choice of Nate, Matt or Jack. Slim pickings, I know. I'm sure you can turn them into respectable boyfriends in no time"

We laughed along with Madison, even though I know Jack would love nothing more than to be Callie's boyfriend.

"Maybe I'll try my luck with locals here" Callie laughed, twisting her hair around her finger. "A nice winter break fling"

"There's a carnival on in a few days. The cleaning lady was telling us when we got the keys. It's supposed to be a big deal. We have to go!" Madison exclaimed.

Before we agree, Jack and Matt yell at us from downstairs, telling us the burgers were ready. We rolled our eyes thinking about how we have two weeks of this. Lucky us.
