"Who's going to be there tonight, again?" Jungkook asked as he jumped an oversized black leather jacket onto his shoulders.

Yoongi was a step in front of him as they got off the subway, following a crowd of well-dressed people heading towards Gangnam. It was a famous, though incredibly elite, clubbing district in Seoul that housed some of the city's most famous clubs. Rise, being one of them.

Jungkook caught the eye of an extraordinarily beautiful girl as they walked onto the street. She stood with a group of women in heels and equally tight dresses, their hair all curled with necklaces worth a year of Jungkook's income around their necks. Jungkook dropped them a wink which caused the first girl to smirk before Yoongi patted him on the back, directing them away from the group.

"Hoseok's already there with Taehyung." Yoongi said as he looked through his phone, confirming his texts. Jungkook nodded, feeling the energy of Gangnam slowly start to seep into his skin. The street was bright from the lights of the clubs, signs shining foreign sounding names. Music boomed behind each door and people were walking between them with alcohol lined smiles.

"Are Namjoon and Jin coming out?" Jungkook asked, trying to focus on people-watching and not the small flip his stomach did at the thought of hanging out with just Yoongi, Hoseok, and Taehyung. There was nothing wrong between any of them, of course not, the boys have been friends since they were kids, but if it was just them four it meant Hoseok and Yoongi would stick to each other and Jungkook would be left with Taehyung.

Who - again - nothing had necessarily happened with, but Taehyung and Jimin were as platonically close as friends could get. It made things awkward between Jungkook and Taehyung when Jimin had rejected Jungkook - and Taehyung had a lot to say about the way Jungkook had asked Jimin out in the first place.

"Namjoon's too worried about his album to come out. Seokjin wanted to stay in the studio with him so that he wasn't alone." Yoongi said as they finally reached the back door of Rise. Since Jungkook worked there, they got to both skip the line and the cover. "I'm texting Jin to try though, Namjoon needs a break from that studio. I'm worried he's going to die in there before the album finishes."

The bouncer gave Jungkook a nod as they approached him. Jungkook rolled his shoulders back, letting the smell of cigarettes and vodka from the club transform him like it was the most expensive perfume he owned.

"You're not sick of this place?" The bouncer, a man with a large frame and tattoos spiraling up both arms and into his neck, said as he let Jungkook and Yoongi inside.

Jungkook shrugged. "Might as well enjoy it when it's someone else cleaning vomit up."

San snorted. "Alright JK, have fun in there. I'll find you inside when I get off, yea?"

Jungkook smiled at his friend. San was a perk to the job as he was one of the only co-workers Jungkook genuinely loved being around.

"Finally going to buy me that drink?" Jungkook said.

San winked, amused, before Yoongi grabbed Jungkook by the forearm.

"Which booth are you guys? I don't see you." Yoongi grumbled over the phone, pushing his way past a couple making out in a narrow hallway of the club.

Rise was massive, but the dim red lighting, smoke, and private booths made it feel much more intimate. It had a dance floor with a long DJ booth that could comfortably house multiple celebrities and guest performers in the middle of the space. Elevated tables hugged the dance floor where rich socialites could stand and flirt.

Beyond that was the bar and then the walls of Rise were lined with booths that had slightly more privacy to them than the open tables. They sat on another platform, but each couch of the booth was hugged by a black wall save for the entrance. A low table was in the center, each with a boat of bottle service and champagne glasses. The only way to get one of the private tables was through knowing someone at the club or being someone the club wants to know. Hoseok, as an extremely respected choreographer, happened to fall into both categories.
