"Are you seeing someone?" Yoongi said, raising a brow at a hoodie thrown over Jungkook's couch that was two sizes too small for him.

Jungkook blushed.

"It was a Hinge date." He said. "It's nothing deep."

Yoongi nodded, his brows creasing. "And will this 'nothing deep' be getting their sweatshirt back?"

Jungkook's blush deepened. "It's not the first time he's left it here, he'll come back to trade me back mine. I don't know what it is with guys wanting to wear my hoodies instead of their own." He said, rubbing his temples.

"So that's a little more than just a Hinge date, huh?" Yoongi said, swinging his beer as he kicked up his feet. "If they're stealing hoodies."

The Laker's game flashed and Jungkook turned his attention to it, the Maverick's were somehow in the lead. Yoongi frowned at the score, mumbling something about a player switching teams at the start of the season as the only reason his favorite team lost the point.

"I broke up with Madison three months ago, I think it's okay that I'm exploring new people." Jungkook said defensively.

"New people?" Yoongi hummed, still watching the game but Jungkook caught the teasing smirk on his friend. God, Jungkook's face was burning now. "Or passing time till old people come back?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes, throwing a pillow at Yoongi which almost made him spill his beer as he caught it. It was a light toss and Yoongi knew there was no malice in it, but it was a tell that he'd struck at the heart of the situation again.

"And you? You never share your dating life but are always prying into mine."

Yoongi grinned. "That's cause I rank higher than you on the age scale."

"Damn Hyung, is your back okay? You're just so old and weak and a pain in the ass. Hearing goes next, you know."

Yoongi scoffed. "Shut up and watch the game."

Jungkook really didn't know how he ended up spending so much time with Yoongi. Hoseok was observant, but he loved to act oblivious to any and all conflict. Namjoon was too in his own head to ever notice what's going on in someone else's and as long as Seokjin wasn't in the mood to get the truth out of him, Jungkook could avoid any topic he wanted by getting Seokjin to talk about himself instead.

Yet, somehow, it was Yoongi who came over every Tuesday and Thursday to watch the NBA with him. They always ended up grabbing a beer somewhere in the week too and Saturdays inevitably turned into Jungkook stopping by to dick around Yoongi's studio in the morning before heading over to Rise for work.

Hoseok came by more often these days too, grabbing lunch before Jungkook's Wednesday shifts and even started to join him on some morning runs. Seokjin's calls had also increased recently, the check ins turning daily. Honestly, he was kind of impressed by his Hyungs coordinated attack to make sure he was doing okay, but he wasn't sure where this surge of worry was fully coming from.

He was doing great.

Yoongi spared Jungkook one look, taking his attention off the game, before leaning back on the couch. Jungkook rotated his shoulder's back, knowing the question that hung on his hyung's lips. Yoongi wouldn't directly ask how Jungkook was doing. He would just silently size Jungkook up every now and then like he could pull Jungkook's thoughts out of him.

"I'm doing fine, Yoongi." Jungkook answered. He was. He was doing fantastic, actually. He ran an extra mile every morning, boxed four times a week instead of the two training sessions he used to do, usually remembered to eat after, his job was fine, though the drinks during his shift had gotten a little stronger, and he didn't have a controlling manipulative girlfriend to worry about. He'd even call that doing stellar.
