Seungmin really hoped in his head that this day would be better than the previous one. He even set several alarm clocks specifically so as not to be late for work today and, fortunately, he even got up at the sound of the first alarm clock. It was a good beginning that had its continuation. in the form of a nutritious breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. Being blessed with caffeine, the boy's mood immediately improved 180 degrees, feeling ready in his soul to get through this day. Seungmin even managed to water his flowers and leave the apartment with plenty of time, everything was going very well, until he was halfway down from his floor, because that's when he heard a voice that, even though he had only heard it once, he couldn't mistake him for anyone else anyway
-It's too early!!
A high-pitched voice echoed along the walls of the building. And after a while of climbing the stairs, the boy was able to reach the last steps of the stairs to find himself on the floor below, where the source of all the noise was. Before Seungmin's eyes, a scene was unfolding in which a boy he had met earlier was grumbling loudly to a man, who was definitely not the guy from the coffee shop with whom he saw the kid yesterday. Which, to be honest, made him happy, although he was less happy about the fact that, from what it turned out, he was next door to this satanic child and possibly his equally satanic uncle.
-Taatooo!Tired!
The preschooler continued to whine dissatisfiedly, amusing Seungmin, who couldn't take the face the man was making. Apparently he was tired of his son's screams, which didn't surprise the boy in the slightest. He was already fed up with them after literally an hour that Jisung spent with his uncle in cafe. His happiness was indescribable when the two decided to leave his workplace.
To think that the man in front of him had something like this 24/7. Seungmin even felt sorry for him, because unlike the man yesterday, this one looked quite normal and calm... and not at all calmer than the other
-Oh, it's you!
Being so lost in his thoughts, the boy didn't even notice the moment when the preschooler looked in his direction, clearly bored as his dad crouched down next to him to straighten his outer clothes. Only his scream brought him to the ground, but much to Seungmin's embarrassment. The man he also looked at him, being a bit shocked, because he didn't know that anyone else was in the stairwell apart from him and the little boy.
-Good morning
The elder was the first to say, standing on his feet with a slight nod of the head towards the other, which was immediately reciprocated with a quiet "good morning", as Seungmin was already red with embarrassment and couldn't say it louder. It was a really awkward situation for him. .The boy could only pray now that his suspicions were correct, considering this man to be more composed than the previous one and that he wouldn't start calling Seungmin a "pervert" because he just looked at the preschooler.
-I'm very sorry, we're probably making things difficult for you
The reaction he received, just happiness for him, was better than he could have dreamed, but it didn't change the fact that he still felt embarrassed about it all.
"Why the fuck did I look at them for so long?!"
He mentally scolded himself, embarrassed at his own stupidity
-No, don't worry, I'm not in a hurry anyway
The boy laughed awkwardly, trying to relax the stiff atmosphere a bit. He descended the last step and stood at the same height as the other two.
-Good... oh, by the way, my name is Chan
-Seungmin
He introduced himself briefly, accepting the hand that the other one extended to him. Smiling slightly, seeing that Chan was definitely much more calm than his son and the boy's uncle. In fact, if it weren't for the boy's constant screams of "uncle! uncle! uncle!" yesterday. he would probably now think even more that that guy was the father of a 4-year-old, and not the man before him
