This was definitely not how Seungmin had imagined his remaining day off, he was more hoping that he would be able to sit in the comfort of his apartment and catch up on his books. However, the appearance of the kid at the door in the morning was already an announcement for him that he would not spend that day as he planned. Jeongin's request only confirmed his belief, so he decided not to leave it for later and immediately after returning, he stood in front of the neighbor's door, waiting for him to open it.

The boy took full advantage of the moment of waiting to figure out how to start a conversation with the elder, because the fact that Jeongin told him that something was wrong did not give him much room to maneuver in the discussion with the elder.

Luckily, fate smiled on him a little, because as soon as Chan opened the door, he wasn't even allowed to open his mouth because Jisung's visibly shaken father started speaking first.
