It had always been a mystery how in one second one person could become everything.
Kasia had always been isolated.
She was the weird kid like her older brother.
She sometimes spent time with his friends but none of them understood her and judged her like everyone else.
It's not like it bothered her.
I didn't.
She just wished she had at least one person who didn't think she was dropped on her head when she was a baby.

It was late as Kasia sat next to Stiles as he talked to Scott about a new beta.
She looked around before taking out a pen to draw on her hand.
She looked at the rose she was drawing as she waited for Stiles to drive her home.
She didn't like walking.
Since finding out about the supernatural she never fully felt safe as she was human without anyone to protect her.
Stiles protected his friends and she was still looking for a group.
"Hey, sis.
Mind giving us a minute?
I'll text you when I'm gonna leave" Stiles said.
She looked at him "Ok.
Just don't leave it too late or I'll walk" she said.
"We both know you won't do that," he said with an annoying smile.
She stood up before walking away.
"Thank you" he shouted.
She smiled before walking to the library.
Her dirty high-top Converse tapped against the floor as she walked to the crime section of the library.
She was just like her brother.
She liked solving mysteries but more as a distraction after her mom passed.
She was into criminology and how killers thought.
Her mom wasn't murdered but it helped her cope.
She had studied death and all the legends around death.
Everything that helped her become at peace with her mother's death.
She picked up a book before opening it to get a teaser of what it was about.
She then heard shuffling.
She looked around before going back to the book.
No one was there and even if there was she knew every hiding spot in the entire school.
She then heard it again causing her to wonder if being alone was a good idea.
"I love that book" a voice came from the section across from her.
Her brows furrowed before walking around to see a guy looking through a gap.
She laughed causing him to jump up.
"Hey.
Sorry, I couldn't help noticing that you were reading about famous killers.
I'm reading it for one of my classes" he said.
"Cool.
Were you watching me?" she asked as she motioned at the section she was standing in.
"Not in a weird way.
I'm waiting for my friend and I rather look at books than sit in the boys changing room" he said.
She laughed "I don't blame you.
I'm Kasia" she said.
"Mason" he responded.
"Wait I know you.
You're in some of my classes.
I sit in the back" she said.
"Wow.
I'm sorry I didn't notice" he said.
"It's ok.
No one does" she said before getting the text from Stiles.
"I gotta go.
It was nice meeting you" she said before walking out.
Mason watched her walk out before seeing Liam.
"Hey we can head out now" he said.
"Cool," Mason said.
"What's wrong?" Liam asked.
"Nothing.
I think I made a friend though.
Still working it out" he said before walking to his car with Liam.
