"What?", Jake exclaimed with confusion.
--Lets rewind--
Tord and Jake has started to get along a bit better since they hung out a few times, they found out that the other isnt so bad afterall, they just have workplace attitudes.
None of them would have expected their choice to be for the better in the end, but they were both unaware of the other's intention...
Today was a big day for Tord, he was gonna ask the big question he has been wondering for a while!
Jake and Tord arrive at their usual hangout place, a pub, they always had good laughs there and even made new friends alongside the drinking times.
"One whiskey, please.", Jake says to the bartender as the two sit down by the counter, the Bartender started serving his whiskey as Jake and Tord chatted.
--A few drinks later--
Jake and Tord were laughing their souls out as they were much more than tipsy, they had been making jokes and kept losing it over the other one laughing, finally they had calmed down, and they made eye contact, it was a long, and silent eye contact, until Jake broke the silence.
"So..!", he looks away and leans back, trying to seem relaxed, unbothered by the moment, yet his pink cheeks were saying otherwise...
"So..?", Tord asks, raising an eyebrow as he examines the blonde man with curiousity, "...Nothing.." Jake replies, feeling awkward and slightly nervous that Tord might have noticed his shift in behavior, yet Tord couldnt care less.
"Okay...", Tord sighs in confusion, then he crosses his arms and speaks in a suspicious manner, "Are you my secret brother?".
"What?", Jake exclaimed with confusion.
"Well... Youve been acting nice to me... Agreed to hang out and such, i was wondering why, then i realized you may have found out we are brothers and you couldnt figure out how to tell me.", Tord epxplains, saying the stupidest thing he has EVER said.
"No?", Jake replies, he sighs and decides to spill the tea, "I am nicer to you for a reason, yeah...", he starts, trailing off into silence as he looks away with a hint of nervousness, "It wasnt because we are secret brothers, its because i may like you... a lot.", Jake says, explaining his behavior, Tord just stares, he wished he would have been right, he looks away too, "Oh.".
Tord and Jake just sit in silence, until Tord speaks up, "I only love myself, sorry.", Jake looks at him with concern, but decides not to worry about that, he sighs and nods, "Its alright, im just glad i got it off my chest.", he says and smiles, after that night, they agreed to just be good friends to keep the bond, because they didnt want to ruin everything over this.
...Tord is in love with himself.
