You loved me so hard you softened, You looked at me like there was something in me worth looking at. I love you with my heart and soul, And it is killing me. The way you cared for me erodes my heart and leaves an empty black hole, The love you offered eats away at my lungs until i am left breathless and exhausted. I thought we had more time, But sadness turned to anger. I talked about you as though you put the stars in the sky, Is it killing you like it is killing me? You remind me of the snow, So beautiful yet so cold. Speaking your name leaves an ache in my mouth, My heart shatters into pieces at the thought.
