Charlie's POV:After three hours I finally found the academy. I was still deciding wether I should go in or not. Maybe I shouldn't. My clothes are after all, just dried blood., I thought to myself.
I inhaled, and exhaled. I took my first steps towards the modern building. The door came closer and closer, and closer, until I stood in front of the massive glass doors.
I pushed one of the doors open, carefully walking inside. I took in the surroundings, the bright white walls with a marble floor, three massive chandeliers hanging down from the ceiling. Coloured graffiti was the only decor the academy had in the hall.
As I looked over to the reception I sighed quietly. A coloured lady with big, curly hair was standing behind the desk. I approached the desk, not really keen on interrupting whatever she was doing.
"Uhm, hi.." Of course I had to be awkward now. You're such a fool, Charlie. I did get her attention though.
"Hello, welcome to Tweedy Dance Academy, how may I help." Her voice was raspy, quite husky. She had a bright smile on her face, a genuine smile.
"I'm Charlie Kians. I got a scholarship here." She nodded as she typed on the computer.
"Lovely to meet you, Charlie. Ms Tweedy will meet you soon. I'll take you to her office." She jumped over the desk, quickly grabbed my hand and started walking.
