Charlie's POV

Ms Tweedy took me to the doctor. On the way there, I had told her how scared I was. She promised me she would not leave.

"Right, Charlie," the doctor began as she turned my way while sitting on a chair with wheels, "I can't find any vaccine history in your records."

"I've never had one." I said while looking at her.

"Why is that? You're fifteen, almost sixteen, you should've at least 15 shots." The doctor almost screeched.

"Cut her some slack, alright?" Ms Tweedy shot the doctor a glare. "It's not her fault." Ms Tweedy added.

The doctor mumbled something I couldn't catch. I turned to Ms Tweedy while the doctor prepared everything. Ms Tweedy placed her hand in mine, and I was gripping it tightly.

"Where are you from, pet?" She asked.

"Newcastle!" I yelped as the doctor put the first needle in my left arm. One down, fifteen needles left.

An hour and a half later

"God, I'm such a wimp." I chuckled tearfully. I dried the tears with my free hand as I was still gripping onto Ms Tweedy's left hand.

"I don't like needles either. I didn't tell you as I could see how nervous you were. You did great though!"

"I would never take you for being scared of needles." I glanced quickly at her face, smiling when I saw the smile on her face.

Ms Tweedy unlocked her car before getting inside. We put on our seatbelt, she started the engine and put the radio on.

"Are you hungry?" She asked.

"A bit." I lied. I hadn't had a proper meal in almost a week.

"Domino's?"

"What's Domino's?" I asked.

"A pizza place, with amazing pizza." She responded. "May I invite my fiancée as well?"

"Sure." I pondered if I should ask her something else, "...what's her name?"

"Kimberley, but some people can call her Kim." She smiled, her dimples were showing along with the sparkle in her eyes.

She turned the engine off, getting out and opening my door. I thanked her quietly for the kind gesture. Ms Tweedy rang her wife, inviting her to pizza with us.

Author's POV;

The duo walked into the pizza shop, waiting for a table that was available. A waiter came with two menus, leading them to an available table.

"Would you like to order something to drink?" He asked them, flashing Charlotte an unsubtle wink.

"I'd like a mug of water, what about you, pet?" Cheryl said.

"Erm.. just water." She smiled unsure. He was coming off as charming and mysterious, but her own experiences had taught her to stay as far away as possible from those kinds of guys.

"Should I take your pizza order now?" He asked Charlotte. Charlotte squirmed under his gaze, wanting him to leave as quickly as possible.

"No. We'll order when we are ready." Cheryl said sternly while looking through her menu. The boy nodded awkwardly before he walked away, leaving them in peace.
