Killua's body was aching all over when he woke up, light flowing gently into the room from the window, bathing his body in the sun's warmth. He didn't want to get up, he truly didn't, but Killua knew that he would need to. And so, with a loud groan, the boy shakily got up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he slowly made his way to the bathroom to do his morning routine.

"Morning kid" Aizawa grunted as the white-haired child entered the kitchen twenty minutes later. "Hizashi already left, you have ten minutes or I leave without you." He said before standing up in his sleeping bag and hopping to the front door. Honestly, that was quite impressive by itself. Killua blinked once, twice, before getting a bowl out of one of the cupboards, before throwing it back in the cupboard when he realized he didn't even have enough time for cereal. Don't ask him how he knew where the bowls were. Honestly, he just guessed and got it right on the first try.

The boy just grabbed an apple and also made his way to the front door—where Aizawa was now sleeping on the floor. He swiftly put on his shoes and Aizawa got out of his sleeping bag, beckoning the child to follow him down the stairs of the apartment complex. They got into a car and Aizawa started driving, and Killua could swear the man almost fell asleep, if the fact that he was fucking swerving was anything to go off of.

After thirty minutes of driving with Aizawa—also known as constant fear of crashing into a wall because he fell asleep—the two made it to U.A.. Killua genuinely had no idea how they weren't pulled over, but somehow, they made it. He'd rather run than ever drive with Aizawa again.

Aizawa went to the teacher lounge whilst Killua set off towards the classroom. When he reached the large door, he wasn't surprised to see no one inside. It was, after all, still an hour until school since the teacher have to be here early.

So what did he do? Killua practiced En, of course! He had a Gon to find...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
School was boring.
So extremely boring.
The white haired boy was currently sitting in English class, and it was so extremely boring. The worst thing was that he couldn't even sleep, since Hizashi was so energetic, and could be heard even through his ear muffs. Instead, he kept on practicing his En, since he knew full well that he would need it to find Gon if he got lost after being found again. Because he knew he would probably find Gon before he could use En to search for him, but it still gave the boy something to distract himself from friend's absence until he finally found him.
Everyone kept giving the white haired boy concerned glances as he was sitting in his chair, drenched in sweat. Who wouldn't be staring, after all, they weren't doing any physical exercise. Glasses tried sending him to the infirmary a total of fifteen times before giving up
So, even though English seemed interesting and he really wanted to learn it at some point, he just spent the entire time getting better with his En and learning a bit of Japanese on the side.
To be precise, he was learning their alphabet.
As it turns out, Killua's universe's universal language is basically just their Japanese, except that the symbols are different. This meant he only had to replace their own symbols with the Japanese ones and he would be able to write and read just fine. He didn't have to learn an entirely different grammar and what not, he could just get used to the new symbols and it would be fine. Until he learnt that they have a total of three alphabets.
Yeah, he'd be playing into the exchange student story and say he could only write and read one.
Who the fuck would need 3 different alphabets for the same fucking language anyways?
