The school was in ruins. It was fixable, but would take months to repair.
"How have only 15 people done this much damage?" Suave Adam asked, staring around
"Haven't you heard?" A Slytherin said, making their way down the stairs, which had been slightly crumbled "There's more like 50 of them. Still some in the forest, some say..." The Slytherin sprinted back down the stairs, not waiting for any of their questions.
"Shit." Alex said
"Fuck." Adam added
"Right..." Chloe said
"We need to do something!" Jacks said. They decided to look round the castle to see if anyone needed help. It was strange to see Hogwarts in turmoil. The classes they had gone to, the conversations they had. All in the walls they were walking down. Yet it had changed so much. The day they had complained about History of Magic was only a day ago. This was all in a day; all the sudden mishap and change.
"I hate this. I actually despise this. Why did They have to return at a point where I'm finally content with things?" Ibby moaned, kicking the wall."Ibby, chill, we can't do anything about this. All we can do is fight them off." Denise sighed. At that moment, an ear-splitting crash outside sprung them into action to run outside.
What awaited them was a small yet uncontrollable fire, with Bellatrix staring at it, cackling and screaming. People were huddled together, terrified. Professor Newt was holding back Longbottom, who was yelling in fury at Bellatrix.
"No! Let me go! She turned my parents mad-She should be DEAD!" He screamed. There was so much anger in his eyes, never been seen in his normally calm and collected eyes. Bellatrix threw her head back and shrieked with manic glee.
"Give up little Longbottom! You really think you can defeat someone able to live again?"
There seemed to be no escape from them. Some students started apparating; the charm had been broken a few hours before. Some students just stood and cried. The Flalex squad? They were chasing after Poppy, who was charging towards Bellatrix in a maddened, unnatural frenzy.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello! Quick note to say that I've used a bit of this story with my end of year Spanish work. My friend and I are writing/finding poems/pieces of creative writing and translating them to Spanish, focussing around work on tenses. I decided to use a bit of this chapter, so I used from "It was strange to see Hogwarts in turmoil" to "the sudden mishap and change". So if that seems like a sudden piece of description, that's why.
As always, thoughts and constructive criticism is much appreciated, and thank whoever you are reading this for reading this. Writing has always been a huge hobby of mine and this really got me back into it. I've written into about half of my notebook for this story and I have no intentions of stopping. If I do end this story, I'll start a new one or do a prologue/sequel to this.
Thank you all again!
