CHAPTER 43

I woke up real early in the morning, showered, got dressed with some clothes Lena had given me the previous night and fixed up some breakfast

"Wow, something smells good in here" I heard zombie Lena say as she walked in looking as if she and a polar bear had wrestled

I chuckled at the sight

"Well good morning to you too gorgeous" I said and she smiled

"Wow thanks. Dave always says I look like a zombie who fought with a polar bear early in the morning" she said and I froze

That was exactly what I had just said

"Don't mind your brother, that was just so stupid of him to say" I said with a nervous laugh

"C'mon Avery, I know you see it too" I heard David say and looked up from Lena and saw David in a suit all ready to get to work

Lena then looked up from me to David, then Back and crossed her arms while she frowned

"Great, now I'm surrounded by early morning freaks" she said while pouting and we laughed

"I'm actually surprised too. I thought you'd be in bed by now" David said and I smiled

"Actually as your sister just said I am an early morning freak" I said and he smiled back

"Me too" he said while looking at me and God those eyes were beautiful

"Hey people, it's not something that you're supposed to be proud of" she said while breaking our eye contact with a wave off her hand and we laughed

"I've got to get to work" he said and I felt a bit sad

"What about breakfast?" I asked and Lena scoffed

"Dave eat breakfast?, like the world is about to end" she said and he chuckled

"I've just got to get to work early that why" he said and gave his sister a kiss on her head

"I'll send one of my drivers to send you home" he said and I shook my head at the offer

"No thanks I can get home myself" I said and he looked at me quizzingly

"Are you sure?" He asked and I nodded

"If you say so then I guess it's a bye?" He asked and I smiled

"Maybe not" I said and he lifted a brow up

"We'll see eachother again?" He asked and I laughed

"Who knows?, the world Is a small place" I said and his eyes lightened up

"It is Avery" he said and left as I looked at him leave dreamily

Lena suddenly stood infront of me making me jump back

"Lena" I scolded

"What?, you early birds ways of saying goodbye is so weird" she said and I lifted a brow up

"And how were we supposed to say it?" I asked

"I don't know you could've hugged, kissed and others" she said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes at her

"You're a dreamer" I said and she laughed

"That's why I work in my mother's business Dream Corp" she said and I laughed but she was dead serious

"Wait you're serious, your Mom owns Dream Corp?" I asked and she nodded

"Yup. And I'll be the CEO of it one day as my charming brother takes Dad's" she said and suddenly sighed
