Jimin

Jimin stands in front of the mirror trying so make sure his outfit is decent enough for his date tonight. He had a long day at school with a new kid called Beomgyu who moved classes and had to introduce him to the group. He looked like a lost puppy with shiny eyes but at least he behaved well enough on his first day. And right now, Jimin had to forget about work, students or...his other job. He's about to go to the first date he's had in several months. He decides to change his pretty skirt for something more common. He doesn't wanna provoke Yoongi or give him the wrong impression.

Even though he's slightly excited about meeting that hot man outside of work, he's having low expectations. First dates tend to be boring, filled with awkward silences, empty words, a facade on both sides. He doesn't have much hope for Min to give him any kind of surprise. As he checks the address Yoongi gave him, he leaves the house. They'll meet there since Jimin didn't feel like telling his date where he lived for him to pick him up. When he arrives, he parks his bike and rolls his eyes.

- An amusement park? Fucking basic bitch...

For a moment he considers leaving. He can't expect much from this and maybe he shouldn't waste his time. However, before he can take that decision his phone shows a text on the screen. Thinking Min is running late, he opens it.

Jimin looks around him. Half expecting one of those predictable moves. Like the man appearing with some flowers, or covering his eyes as a suprise. Some cheesy bullshit that Jimin will find very annoying. Despite that, he can't see him anywhere and decides to give him a call.

- Hi there, Jimin. Is it okay if I call you by your name?

- Whatever's fine. I guess you're inside. I'm at the entrance, tell me where to-

- It wouldn't be fun if I told you where I was

- Do you want our first date to be our last one as well, Min?

- I was planning on a little game. But if you don't wanna play then I can go to you and we can have a boring date pretending to be perfect people and flirting like a pair of idiots.

-...What game?

- Hahaha I knew you'd be interested! So, if you wanna find me you should play! For every little thing you tell me about yourself I'll give you a clue of where I am

- My favorite color is blue

- Ah-ah, Jimin. Boring facts won't work. Something deeper.

- You know I could just walk out right?

- Whether you play or not is up to you...

Jimin bites his lip. It's weird to spend the date looking for the other person but at the same time...he loves games like this.

- Okay. What you wanna know?

- What you wanna tell me?

- Hmmm...I would like to be a cat

- I don't think you understood the rules

- I wanna be a cat because I wanna see in the dark. I wanna observe everyone without being noticed. I wanna hide knowing they can't find me. I love to know I could take people by surprise. And also...I wanna see that no one is gonna do that to me. I hate dark or closed spaces because the idea of someone staring at me from the shadows terrifies me.

Jimin can't see it but Yoongi is smiling wide. Starting with one of Jimin's fears is definitely a plus. Since he's satisfied, he gives him a clue as promised.
