Felix sat up and looked around, seeing the beautiful ocean beside him, deep blue water stretching over the horizon.
'Now for the Plot. As I said before, I lied to you almost every world has a plot. Because every human or other creatures have a purpose in life and even all these people who seem to have no purpose are there to motivate others to have one. It is sad but true. A child and his mother see a drug addict on the streets and the child will either get curious or know better than to end up like that. As I've just explained, the continent and its inhabitants work hand in hand. Even though humans have most of their hands in trading, it is not frowned upon by the other races. The elves and the merfolk even think it is one of the redeeming features of the human race. They often think that this love for gold and shiny things could come from the admiration of the dragon race. Thus they often find it endearing, the dwarves don't care much about that,' Void has drifted from the topic they wanted to speak of, but Felix found it interesting so he didn't say anything.'Right the plot-' he stopped himself from explaining the relationship any further.
'It's your generic, you've killed off my entire race so now I'm coming for yours, type of bull. What is important for you is that your race the elves and a race called the immoralies are going to have a conflict in the upcoming four months maybe? Not really sure about the timeline and I don't want to say too much unless you change the story like in the tutorial. The only thing important to you is, don't get involved in this war and flee the first chance you get. Don't pull the hero crap, you're not here to save the world you're here to fulfill the original owner's wishes and get soul power so you can get back to your life.'
Void said these last sentences annoyed, and Felix asked back, "But it was like that in books I've read too, the more good you do for the world the more the world will reward you."
Void scoffed, 'That may happen with other creatures like me because not every being has powers like me. My power is to help you heal you traumatic experience that is trapped to your soul. This trauma in your soul is what keeps you away from waking up in your real world. It is precisely because you need to feel like a hero that you have to fulfill the original people's wishes.'Now it was for Felix to scoff and feel funny, "You mean to say that my soul has trauma and you're here to help me heal it?! That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard."
'I am speaking of your soul, you can speak of yourself as your soul is the only thing standing in front of me. Right now you are nothing but a soul. You don't have your body and all your memories and skills are edged into your soul. ANYWAY, now to who you are in this fantastical world. Your name is Wilwarin Varta, which means changing butterfly. You have two wonderful mothers, your mama is named Elanor Varta and your mother is called Hwarwa Varta. Like any other elf, you are born from the fruit of the mothertree 'Amilgalada'. Your mama is a talent in singing and dancing when she was your age she had won ten yearly competitions after another. Never had she won with beauty, it was always her talent and skill that pulled in the masses. Your mother is a fearless warrior, she looks soft and approachable but she is forced to be reckoned with. She was one of the youngest elves to have become a warrior. When they fell in love they wanted a child and so they prayed to their tree, hoping it would bless them with a child. So it happened.'Felix smiled sadly, "Seems like the original owner grew up with a lot of love and caring."
'He indeed did. Inspired by both his mothers, Wilwarin aspired to be like one of his parents. He didn't have any talent in fighting like his Mother, but he showed great grace and charm in the dancing like his mama. So he set up to register in the dance competition, he had one rival Vulen. She was the champion the year before and just like Wilwarin, she aspired to be the champion for the next ten years. Wilwarin did well in his first dance, many had complimented him that he really moved like a butterfly. Vulen was jealous, but she didn't show it. She congratulated Wilwarin and told him she fell for him and wanted to go on a date with him. Wilwarin who had never gotten such an invitation before accepted.'
Felix chuckled, "Let me guess she brought him up there." He pointed to the cliff above him, "And pushed him down?"
