The sound of my pink alarm clock was the first thing I had to hear in this dreadful morning. Today was the day I started high school here In forks. I had been dreading this day ever since I came here.

All aside from that Forks wasn't that bad. Though they didn't have a lot of cool shops like New York did, it was still a cozy and aesthetic town. I would know since I went shopping yesterday and spent a little too much money but hello? It was clothes and clothes are forever.

I picked out my first day of school outfit in the afternoon yesterday since it would always take me ages to figure out and I decided what to wear. It was a gloomy day like every other day but on the bright side it wasn't raining so I decided on an off the shoulder pink long sleeve blouse with blue jeans and my pink ballet flats paring it with a pink bow to tie up my wavy locks. Can you guess I love pink?

Rushing downstairs to get a banana for breakfast I got my grandpa's car keys and drove off to school. I hadn't driven in a long time since I didn't really use my car in New York considering there was always so much traffic and there was public transport so I had to start getting used to driving again but other than that I just drove in silence. Parking my car near a reddish orange truck I step out of the car and get my bag feeling the gazes of people watching me.

Whispers followed me like a shadow, a mixture of awe and envy in the hushed tones. The girls glanced at me with a mixture of curiosity and resentment, their eyes lingering a moment too long on my features. I could hear their murmurs behind my back, speculating about my clothes, my hair, my every move. But it was the boys who were the most obvious. They couldn't seem to help themselves, their gazes lingering on me as if I were a painting in a museum. Some tried to hide their interest, stealing glances when they thought I wasn't looking. Others were bolder, openly staring with unabashed admiration. I was used to the staring, I mean hello? Daughter of Aphrodite, I'm gorgeous.

It seemed no one in this town loved to wear any bright colors because my pink outfit contrasted with their dark monochrome outfits but I love pink. Walking up the steps I am met by a short black haired boy stopping me.

"You're Colette right? The other new girl, Hi I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place, anything you need tour guide, lunch date anything?". He says blushing at me

"Oh hi!, thank you so much for offering, I think I'm gonna have to take you up on that because I really don't know anyone from here". I respond giggling trying to be nice.

He seems to pause for a second as he stares at me for a minute.

"Hey everything okay?" I ask as cocking my head to the side that seemed to get him out of his trance.

"Oh no yea sorry just admiring um anyway but sure I could totally show you around you know I'm actually on the paper and you and the other new girl are front page.
