To answer this question
Your mind may wander
To canvases of color
Made with feeling and passion
And you're right
Those canvases are art
They present emotions
Just through visuals
But art branches greatly
From just Picasso
And the beauty displayed in frames
To be viewed by the human race
Poetry is art
A piece made with feeling
You have to dig deep to find
Yet it was with you as you first read
You feel with the poet
Whether they laugh or sob
A display of empathy
Triggered by words
Cinematography is art
The show don't tell aspect
Encourages viewers to think for themselves
And just infer to understand
The look of a scene
Can portray thoughts and feelings
Even with no narration
Even with no dialogue
So what is art?
Art is simply creativity
Artworks are pieces to help artists express
Pieces that open the human mind
To finally appreciate the human race
