Bitten Chapter 3

Inuyasha settled down on a branch in a tree about 5 miles from the village. 'She is going to hate me' Inuyasha hugged Kagome tight 'I have to atleast try to make her not hate me' Kagome stirred in his arms. "Inuyasha......I can't breath...." Inuyasha nearly fell out of the tree, startled by Kagome's voice, he loosened his grip on her. "Please Kagome, don't hate me." Kagome looked up at his eyes. "Why would I hate you?" Inuyasha frowned. "I've ruined your life thats why!" Kagome looked puzzled. "How?" And thats when it hit her. Scents and sounds from all over the forest hit her at once, she let out a yelp and buried her face in Inuyasha's haori. "Kagome? Whats wrong?" She was shaking "So....much...noise, and my nose is on fire...where are we?" "In a tree outside the village." She shook her head. "We can't be there isnt this much noise and smell in the fedual era, there isn't even this much in my time." Inuyasha buried his face in her hair taking in her scent. "Kagome....the bug that bit you.....it....your......your a hanyou...." Kagome's first response was to reach up and feel her head, sure enough to fuzzy ears met her hands. "But-......how?" Inuyasha buried his face further into her hair. "Please dont hate me, I've ruined your life." Kagome shook her head. "I don't hate you......it wasn't even your fault......" "It was my fault......" Kagome frowned. "Baka! It was the bug's fault!" Inuyasha smiled. "Thank you Kagome....now....just concentrate on my scent, I'll cover your ears...." Inuyasha pulled his head back and pushed her ears flat on her head. Kagome concentrated on what she thought was Inuyasha's scent, it smelt of wind, trees, and just a hint of dog. "Inuyasha......what type of hanyou am I...." "A neko hanyou....." Kagome gasped though she thought that would be his answer. "W-what? don't like cats?" Kagome shook her head before reaching to her side and grabbing the dagger Khazana had given her. "Where the hell did you get that?" Kagome held it up. "A neko-youkai.....he said it only obeyed nekos....." She handed it to Inuyasha who took it and looked it over. "What's it do?" Kagome took back the dagger and sat up, un-sheathing it, she waved it in the air as Khazana had done, turning it into a longsword, and then taking the string from the phoenix's mouth, she turned it into a bow. "Thats pretty cool, But its not as cool as Tetsusaiga." Kagome giggled. "Your right, it's not." She put the string away and seathed the dagger. "Okay, well anything else new about me I should know about?" Inuyasha nodded. "Well other then the claws and fangs......you have a tail...." Kagome turned around and sure enough, a long black tail was poking out from the top of her skirt. "How the hell did i not notice that!" Inuyasha shrugged. "You don't notice alot of things." Kagome frowned. "Baka! Sit!" Inuyasha, who was still holding kagome, Fell to the ground, kagome falling beside her. "Kagome! Are you okay?" Kagome sat up grumbling. "baka....." Inuyasha grined "How do you like it?" Kagome frowned, she reached over and pulled off the rosary. "Wha- Kagome?" Inuyasha grabbed her arms and pushed the rosary back on. "Leave it. You need it for when I go full demon....plus....I like it......well in the fact that I feel conected to you when I have it...." Inuyasha blushed just a little, but it was enough for Kagome to notice. "Me to...." She leaned over and hugged him. "Inuyasha....do you still wanna become a full demon?" Inuyasha looked into Kagome's eyes, he was surprised by the suddeness of the question. "No.....If I did.....that would mean I would have to leave you..." Testing his luck, he leaned forward, and he kissed her
