Kagome squeezed her eyes shut at the sound of ripping flesh, She waited for the pain, But it never came. Curious, She opened her eyes, surprised by the sight infront of her.There was Taka, His talons sunk deep in Sesshomaru's back. She unsheathed the Kouentori, ready for when Sesshomaru attacked.Kagome screeched when she felt arms wrap around her. "Kagome! It's okay!" Kagome looked up to see Inuyasha.She looked back at Sesshomaru, who had escaped taka's grasp and was about to use a death blow on him, "Taka! NO!" She screeched, running from the tree she waved her dagger, changing into a longsword...although it was flaming. "Moeru Hane!" Kagome screeched, sending thousands of flaming objects at sesshomaru, who in turn changed into a ball of light and flew away.Kagome sheathed the Kouentori and collapsed on the ground, panting. She felt arms wrap around her. "Inuyasa....." Inuyasha pulled her protectively against his chest. Kagome blushed when she realized she was naked, then remembering what had just happened, she burst into tears and buried her self against Inuyasha. "Kagome.... I am so sorry, I should have been there to protect you.... I will never let him do that to you again!" Kagome looked up at him. "No Inuyasha, it wasn't your fault, Kaede warned me that Sesshomaru was in the area, but I ignored her....." She looked over at Taka, who was looking around as if waiting for all hell to leap from the bushes. "Thank you Taka....." Kagome looked at Inuyasha and laughed. "Well my options are, stay here and get sought after by demons who want to take me as a mate, or return home and get captured and experimented on by the government...." Kagome started to sob again. "Inuyasha.....don't let them take me...." Inuyasha buried his face in her hair, taking in her sweet scent. "I won't Kagome..... I Love You.
