"Some were the night unknown to the world when a little boy searched for love but in response only got a cool shadow of warmth..."

"At first you ran away from me and now you're running away from your family. Great! Just keep running away from the problems.
Remember, everytime the opposite person won't come to you to make it easier for you. Sometimes you have to take the step. For god's sake just face it! Until and unless you won't face it, it can't be solved... "
Her words ran on his ears repeatedly as he stood in the balcony. His eyes kept gazing at the dark sky. He eyes momentarily closed as something flickered in his eyes.
So many years yet he couldn't forgot the bitterness. He couldn't push them away even he himself wanted to. The moments when he craved for his loved ones. The nights he spend crying alone. The days when he felt so lonely even when he had a whole family. His hold tightened around the railing as a chain of painfully bitter memories ran through his mind.
Every night, a part of him always used to hope that maybe...maybe his father would come and hug him close to him. But no he didn't. He was too lost in his own world to console his son. He was too busy in his own to see his own son's painful eyes. Days passed on and slowly, the talkative Armaan turned into a reserved boy. The playful boy started spending days inside his room alone with himself.
The little boy died bit by bit.
He couldn't forgot anything even when he wants to. But was his mother at fault? The mother who gave her everything to him, was she should be punished for all these? No, she shouldn't.
In all these years, he tried his best to gave her at least some of her share of happiness but he knew somewhere he failed and the mere thought every time filled him up with agony.
A indescribable agony.
It wasn't like he never thought of resolving the past. Erasing the memories but he couldn't gather himself up at that time to let it go. But until he realised, he couldn't just run away from them he was late. Everytime he took a step forward, he ended up taking two steps backward.
But when his wife said those words to him, he realised. This family doesn't only have his father but other people too. Specifically, his mother who loved him unconditionally , always.
His wife's words hit him at the exact place. He felt a pang in his heart. He was punishing...punishing a mother who only wants his son close to her. A wife who just wants a complete family.

A wave of morning breeze kept on caressing her rosy cheeks as she looked outside the window of the car. Naina never knew being with the family is actually so much relaxing but yet it was incomplete. The person who is her first family isn't present there.
Earlier in the morning when Adheera told her that they'll be going to the ancestral temple to offer prayers since it was Choti Diwali, and every year it's a ritual to visit there. She was definitely filled with happiness but the moment Adheera spoke the next sentence, it didn't took a second for her happiness to vanished in the air."And Aarti is supposed to be done by all the married couples of the house" Oh. So, she have to stand alone at a corner just like an unmarried women because ofcourse her husband is not accompying her anyways.
He clearly said anything but these. I'm not stopping you to be with them but please don't ask me to come with you , she said nothing because she knew forcing him is not going to work.
