The night kept on getting darker along the passing time. The lighting around the lawn keeping it enlighten. The guest had almost gone, the space left with the Singhania's, Raichand's and a few associates who were leaving.

Naina talked with a maid instructing her about the puja that to held tomorrow. When she was done she asked the maid to leave but before she could turned around , a familiar voice made her stopped on her spot.

“Naina? ”A stinging warmth passed across her heart when her father, Vikram Singhania's soft voice reach her. She turned around to face him.

His face bore the mark of time--- a few wrinkles under his eyes but yet with his still black hair and a soft smile he still had the charm.

“Can I meet my daughter?” She nodded softly passing a smile that didn't reached up to her eyes. They both walked away from the chaos and settle on the bench in the backyard. A heavy silence scattered around as none of them spoke anything.

Vikram looked at his daughter, same smile,same eyes,same hairs. She was no less then a replica of his wife. A small smile adorned his lips before he looked at the night sky.

“Are you happy?” He asked.

Her head lowered for a brief second before she looked her father.She stared at him. It's been a month, since she talked with him. The last time she had a talked with him was before her marriage when he came to convince her for it.

The memories flashed fresh across her face and she looked away. A wave of crisp air touches her face, she closed her eyes for a brief second.

“I'm.”She said in a low voice.

“Hmm.. ”He trailed off and they fall into silence again.

When she expected an another word from her father, he didn't. She couldn't helped but felt the familiar emptiness inside her. How many times she wanted her father to talk but he didn't. Instead, he pushed her away. His only daughter,away. How old she must have been when she lost her mother? Five. The little Naina would cling to her father day and night unaware of the lose she really had. But as time passed by, her father started pushing her away and she realised things were changing.

Little by little, the young child became mature much more before her age. Longing for her silent guardian, her father's warmth again.

It wasn't like he never loved her. He do. Naina knew that. She saw it in his eyes when he hideously wipe away his tears during her marriage. Still remember the moment, when the anger of years vanished into thin air but yet the another part stings that even in her last day, she didn't found his silent guardian. He didn't came to his daughter.

She doesn't hate him, it just the pant up anger a hurt, she have that she couldn't let out. She couldn't let go the fact that he kept her only daughter away from him. She couldn't let out that when she cried to stay by his side, he gave a cold shoulder. She knew he cried. She saw him crying hideously several times but the reason known.

During Early years, she was too young to understand that the tears holds some reason that she should asked but with passing time the distance increase and a invisible thread drawn between their relationship.

Without her knowledge, a lone tear escaped her eyes. She closed her eyes trying her best to hold herself from breaking down in front of him, when she found herself on the verge of failing to control it, she stood up abruptly.
