Summer pov.
"Look, we'll never make it in time if we only travel at night. These guys can protect us out in the open. What do you say?", asked Ellie.
I glance at the males and see Manny hit Sid. "Ow!", expressed Sid.
"Why did you invite them?!", asked Manny.
"Because you might be the only two mammoths left on Earth!", explained Sid.
"He has a point.", confirmed Diego. Manny glanced at me and I nodded.
"Oh, I'm sorry. When did I join this dating service?", questioned Manny.
"Since now, lover boy.", I answered sarcastically. We then noticed Ellie and the possums walking towards us.
"My brothers and I would be delighted to come with you.", stated Ellie. Manny only sighs in annoyance.
"If you treat us nicely.", said possum #1, getting in Diego's face, and making him growl. "See that? That's the total opposite of nice."
"Maybe we'll have ourselves a little snack before we hit the road.", stated Diego and walked off.
"You want peace of us? Let's go.", said possum #2, and possum #1 jumped on him, swinging him in the air.
"Banzai!", exclaimed possum #1 as he jumped on Diego, pulling his eyelids, causing him to growl.
"Alright, that's enough, guys! Cut it out!", I demanded. Diego tries to eat possum #1 but he uses his paws to keep Diego's mouth open.
"Oh, you know the best part? We're carrying diseases.", stated possum #1. Just then, the ground begins shaking, meaning the dam is breaking even more. Diego spits the possum out.
"Okay. Thanks to Sid, we're now traveling together, and like it or not, we're gonna be one big happy family.", started Manny. "I'll be the daddy, Ellie will be the mommy, and Summer and Diego will be the aunt and uncle who eats the kids who get on my nerves. Now let's move it before the ground falls out from under our feet!", explained Manny and then started to walk.
"I thought fat guys were supposed to be jolly.", stated Ellie.
"I'm not fat. It's this fur. It makes me look big. It's poofy.", explained Manny.
"Oh, okay. He's fat.", said Ellie and started to walk as well. I, Diego, and Sid trailed behind.
~Time Skip~
We caught up to other animals. Everyone walking faster than others, desperate to reach the boat. Soon I saw Fast Tony.
"Folks, escaping the flood is the perfect time to shed those unsightly pounds with Fast Tony's Disaster Diet.", he says and rolls in front of a female. "You, ma'am. You look like a big fat hairy beast."
"Oh.", said the female, feeling offended.
"How'd you like to lose a ton or two, huh?", asked Fast Tony.
"Would I ever.", replied the female.
"Don't listen to him, Vera.", stated the male. "You're already as thin as a twig."
"Oh-ho, I also have the perfect cure for your eyesight, my blind friend.", stated Tony, and then saw Manny, Sid, Summer, and Diego walking. Fast Tony immediately curled up and jumped away.
I turned around and saw a deer stop by two bushes and prepare to eat them until they hop away, much to her surprise. The bushes keep hopping until Crash and Edie (that's their names) jump out and dash up a tree. They look around and Crash whistles to Ellie who uses two branches to camouflage herself and crawls over to the tree before scampering behind it. You can clearly see her.
