He never came back outside. To my breaking heart, it bled inside.
Literally, ha.
Still everyone sat outside in the blazing sun, waiting for the heavenly doors to open and our idols to blast their music.
It was peaceful, happy and excitable vibes were radiating from everyone as adrenaline was starting to boil.
Suddenly though the boys walked out, talking slightly to us before walking down the road to the nearest pub.
Of course my heart was pounding as a flash of ginger hair walked off in the same direction.
"Do you think they'll walk up together later?" Jade asked as we stood by each other watching the guys become tiny figurines heading into the tiny distant pub.
"I don't know, isn't Robbie on merchandise tonight?" I replied, confused as to what was happening tonight.
"I think he's performing actually, then on merch for the lads after," Jade smiled knowing I'd be ecstatic to see him on the stage, "And guess what, you're first in." She grinned widely.
I smirked knowing I'd be right in front of him.
"Bec!" I heard Danni call me from the front of the line to enter the building.
"Robbie can she have a hug before you go in?!" I heard her call as I got closer to her, my heart started pounding as I saw Robbie smiling as he walked towards us all alone. Danni grabbed my hand as she started walking to meet Robbie, pulling me with her. A crowd had started to form behind as I got closer to him.
"Sure of course." He smiled, his smile got brighter as he looked me in the eyes.
"She's been here for seven hours, waiting for you." Danni smiled as she practically threw me into Robbie's arms.
"Oh my god," I breathed as I felt his chest chuckle, "my heart.."
"You ok babe?" I heard the cheeriness in his voice as he held me tight, the scent of fresh crisp cologne invaded my mind to be stored for memory.
"No." I answered honestly and I heard a chuckle erupt from the crowd, his chest moved with laughter again as he held me tighter in his arms.
"You feeling better now?" He spoke in my ear, the feel of soft hair tickled my ear.
"Slightly" I smiled lifting my head up slightly from his hard chest. He loosened his grip on me and pulled away, he had to go inside to set up the merch. I walked back to the crowd to them just in awe over what had just happened.
Soon we were inside and at the front ready for the gig after Robbie's amazing sudden performance, but I had to do one thing.
I wrote on a piece of paper my phone number and a short message upon it before scrawling my name at the bottom and folding it up. I walked over to where Robbie was stationed, a small crowd had formed so I waited patiently. Once they had dispersed I only had a few minutes before needing to head back to Danni.
"Robbie!" I grabbed his attention, he turned round and smiled brightly to me, making me crack one myself.
"You okay?" He smiled cheerily as he lent over the counter to me.
"Better now," I shied, "I'm really sorry for earlier." I bit my lip noticing I had left mascara on his dark shirt.
He still chuckled lightly.
"Don't worry about it, I got your letter by the way from Kit in the end."
"Wait you remember?" Shock across my face. I'd sent Robbie a letter a few months previously through Kit, unknowing whether he'd get it.
"Yeah, I called him after I spoke to you," he smiled. "Thank you, I really appreciate it."
"You did save my life." I shied a blush. But I snapped out of it as I remembered the little piece of paper in my hand.
My expression became serious.
"Rob I'm being serious about what's inside this," I held out the paper to him, "My phone number is inside, drop me a call please.... I'm not being a creep." I smiled as he took it from me, a serious look upon his face as he popped it in his pocket. I told him briefly about a song I had wrote; I wanted him on it, he seemed serious too.
I then left him smiling to join Danni back in the crowd, just as Room 94 walked onto the stage.
