No one could comprehend the sight Naruto showed them when he showed the basic fireball jutsu. It was blue, blue flames that burned twice as hotter than the regular. Kagami smirked at the sight while Hiruzen fisted his hand. Naruto's opponent was on the run as the blonde had a blue fire dragon chasing him while also showcasing his original jutsu a spiraling ball of chakra that was surely wishing death on his opponent.
Naruto's opponent slipped away again but Naruto didn't look upset. He was smirking, he was playing with his opponent. This was his debut match of course he didn't want it to be over quickly. His opponent swept at his legs and Naruto jumped back to create distance as he weaved through a set of hand signs and to the horror of everyone else instead of flames, he started launching lava balls as he jumped in the air. His opponent's eyes widened in fear as he was treated to lava balls raining down on him.
Kagami started laughing. "Another Kekkei Genkai, whoever Naruto's father married must be a vixen of a kunoichi."
"He's just showing off," Nara Head murmured.
"Isn't that the entire point of this?" Hyuga Head muttered bitterly. "He's made his damn point."
"But the opponent hasn't tapped out," Akimichi Head countered. "The match continues."
"I'm getting bored," Naruto smirked. "You dodging and squirming isn't helping. Why won't you quit? Or should I make you?"
Before his opponent could comprehend, golden chains shot out from Naruto's back and headed straight for him. Kagami started chuckling at the absurdity. Naruto had contemplated showing he was part of the Uzumaki clan. He thought he should keep it a secret between him and Kushina but he wanted Hiruzen to boil alive. He was a treasure, after all, Uzumaki was welcomed in Konoha. He started laughing as the chain caught its prey.
Hiruzen's eyes widened. 'Uzumaki.'
"Do you give up?" Naruto asked as his chains dragged his opponent forward.
"Yes," His opponent admitted defeat and that was the conclusion for his assessment. He pulled back his chains with ease and walked off the stage. His gaze met Kushina's who smiled at him brightly from between the Uchiha elders. She was probably excited he showed he was an Uzumaki. The same as her instead of burying it. He was a Uzumaki but only partially he was a Uchiha through and through.
He got back to among his clansmen as the stadium started to empty and many complimented him and told him they were proud to have him represent the Uchiha clan going forward. "I promise to lead you all to get the best treatment you deserve. We aren't underdogs anymore, we own this throne."
He made it through them to get to Kushina who was blushing as he pulled her to his side. "You were amazing out there," She murmured as they made their way over to Kagami who was standing beside the Hokage.
"I held back most of my power, causing property damage that would have been coming from the Uchiha vaults," He kept his blank expression and he could see Hiruzen twitch as he had heard him. "The lava was as far as I could go."
"You are certainly in a league of your own," Kagami smirked. "Congratulations Elite Jounin Naruto Uchiha."
Naruto accepted his flak jacket and turned it over to Kushina. It was a special one, with the Uchiha crest on the back. Kushina took it, the implications were quite clear. She hugged his bicep in gratitude. "Thank you!"
'You're practically shoving it in his face. He can't tell Kushina not to hang around you because she already declared their relationship to the shinobi force. And if he does try Kushina would be suspicious of him. Knowing her nature she would probably assume that she can't have love because of her status which would cause her to rebel even more,' Kagami thought as he watched Kushina talk off Naruto's ear.
"Is there anything else needed of me today?" Naruto turned to Hiruzen, his gaze got even more devoid and Hiruzen shuddered.
"No, missions can be picked up from the Jounin Lounge should you choose so," He coughed around his fist and dismissed himself but not before he overheard Kushina talking about showing Naruto the way.
Once Hiruzen was out of their sight Naruto sighed a bit before turning to Kushina who was eagerly looking at her boyfriend's Jounin flak jacket. He didn't want to spoil her mood so he turned to Kagami who looked amused at the situation. "Another clan meeting should be coming up right?"
"Yes at the end of the month, I plan to name you to the official heir," Kagami responded.
"Oh? When would I get the title?" Naruto asked in half curiosity.
"When you become the Fourth Hokage," He responded which made Naruto smirk.
"Then I better get my reputation through the roof," He rubbed his neck as he thought of the challenge.
"I look forward to seeing you soar," Kagami then walked away with the elders who smiled at Naruto leaving only him and Kushina.
"Are you going to let me go so you can put that thing on?" He asked as he gazed down at her. Kushina smiled and looked up at him.
"You gave me your jacket," She rocked on her heels.
"Because you're my girlfriend," Naruto answered simply but it made Kushina squeal. 'She's such a sucker for romance. She wants all the little things other girls overlook as typical. I guess feeling isolated and hidden away by other partners made him stand out vastly differently because he wasn't ashamed. If anything I want the world to know you are my girl.'
Kushina released him to put on the jacket. Her eyes lit up as she jumped on Naruto who held her up as she kissed his cheek, her pink lip tint staining his pale cheek. "Hime-chan," Naruto called out.
"Yeah?" She smiled at him.
"What's your preparation for the Chunin Exams?" He asked.
She stalled and looked away guilty. "Can we talk about this later?"
"Oh, we will. Over dinner," Naruto carried her on his back out of the stadium.
