I get stabbed while 'Saxaphoning'

The shrill whistle called. The game had started.

From my high vantage point, i could see the whole game from the large pine tree i was sitting on.

An Ares kid ran up to the flag. He shouldn't have gone by my tree.

A smirk plastered onto my face, i flipped from the tree and landed in front of him.

He looked at me, seeing that my bow wasnt ready to shoot. He grinned and tried to sidle past me.

With a grin, i pulled the reed up to my mouth and began to play the most annoying song i knew.

'Baby shark' played and he just stood there, stunned.

Until the music overcame his confusion. He began to do the movements, and sang along. "Mommy shark do do do...." Then he fainted. It worked like a charm.

He'd be fine, but Baby shark would be stuck in his head for days. My cover blown, i readied my bow and stood guard. Until i realized that he had a buddy, hiding in the bushes.

Shoot.

I aimed and fired my bow, and he deflected it with his blade before he threw it at me.

Me carring an entire saxaphone and a bow, i wasnt able to make it in time. It sliced my arm, and i fell to the ground.

He grabbed the flag and ran off, but as he was running, i saw Conner, son of Hermes, cross the border, carrying the flag.

We had won, but just barely. And then i fainted. Of course.

I came to in the infirmary. Ugh. What was i suposed to do if i know medicine better than my docter?

He was one of my half brothers, and he was obviously new at this whole demigod stuff.

He spread some aloe over my wound and i suggested to put some medicine over the aloe, but he just looked at me, iritated, and put a bandage, not following my amazing advice.

Luckily, Will Solace walked over, Nico trailing him like a shadow. He directed the new kid with gentle but firm words, and he then did what i told him he should have done in the first place.

Gods. Some people are so annoying. My scrape dressed, i thanked Will, while glaring at the new kid.

"I see you haven't met Alfred yet. He just came a couple days ago. He was claimed by Apollo today. He's... well, bad when it comes to medicine, but he's got an amazing voice," Will informed me.

Nico chimed in, "He called my dad stupid for ruling a barren wasteland of an afterlife."

Nico was staying close to Will, abviosly protective of him, letting everyone know that Will was his.

I walked out and checked that my keychains were still on my belt. My bow, saxaphone, and quiver were enchanted by dear old dad to turn into keychains until i wanted them.

I climbed the rock wall, the lava at my heels. As i spied on everyone at Camp Half Blood, I saw that Percy was in a water baloon fight with Annabeth.

Gods. That was one powerful demigod. I was glad he was on my team during capture the flag earlier.

I was thinking, lost in thought, when Austin, one of my cabinmates, climbed up.

"Micah, you forgot something." I looked at him, confused.

"Remember," He tried again, "cabin inspection is today"

Shoot.

My bunk was a mess.

I ran down the wall yelling, "thanksbyeaustin!" I ran up to my bunk, and began to speed clean.

When Piper, the inspector, walked in, I had just barely made my bunk look ok.

"Great job, guys. Next time, maybe remember about cabin inspection and you'll do real good."

I breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that i hadn't doomed us all.

I laid in bed, playing Mariocart on my Nintendo switch. I was one of the only people who had a Switch because my Adhd wasn't as bad as some of the other campers.

And most of them had to fight a monster to get here, and no Nintendo switch could survive that.

Then it hit me. Chariot races were tomorrow and, me being the second oldest, I was racing.
