I haven't seen Paige today but I know I'll at least see her on Friday.

Me and Luna, a girl I met in my choir class, made plans to go to the mall today so I'm going to her dorm. I'm sure she can sit on my bike, she's small enough.

It turns out she has a car. The first store we went to was Sephora which was terrifying because of the amount of twelve year olds in there. Thankfully non of them were after any of my products, half of them couldn't get them because it's too dark for them.

When we left there we decided to go to old navy. Half of my clothes come from there because my parents have an account with them. "Soo, see anything you find cute", Luna asked as we walked in.  "Yeah, on the mannequin to the far right", I point. It was a pair of grey sweatpants, I don't wear those often but I need some. "That is cute", I grab it and three fitted shirts, a grey one, a black one, and a brown one. Luna also got some fitted shirts, she got a light pink one and a grey one as well.

When we left we beelined to the food court, Straight to chick fil-a.

"You can't be serious", I say turning and hiding my face with my hand. "What's up", she furrows her eyebrows. "Nothing just someone I know."

"Is it an ex, I can take care of those", she says looking over. "No, it's someone I like", I say moving my hand. "Aww dude, you should talk to them."

"I cant." "Why not", she turns back to me. "She hasn't texted me so she probably doesn't want to talk to me that much." We both turn and look at Paige. I guess she saw us because she started walking towards us.

"Hey Vicky", she said turning to me. "Vicky is insane", Luna laughed. "Who's this", she turned. "I'm Luna, what's your name?"

"I'm Paige." She has a straight face. "She's my friend from choir, we have to find black clothes for a concert", I further explain. "Oh, that sounds fun", she smiles brightly. "Your outfit looks nice by the way. It's almost like you made your closet to perfectly complement you", she says as she sizes me up, I feel my cheeks heating up. "Uh thanks, my parents told me to wear flattering things more often", I smile awkwardly.

"Do you wanna help us pick out some stuff", Luna speaks up. "Sure."

We go into urban outfitters and find many dresses.

"Hey do you need a ride", Paige asks me as we walk out. "No, she's my ride, she also has my bike", i say signaling to Luna. "BIKE?" It can't be THAT surprising right..?

"What's wrong with that", I ask furrowing my eyebrows as she laughs. "Nothing", she's obviously judging me. "I don't really like bikes all that much but it kinda suits you", she smiles. "Uh huh".

We part ways and I kinda wish we were within each others vicinity. "Make a move", Luna says starting the car. "What", I turn to her. "I can't I don't even know if she likes me."

"Have you seen the way she looks at you", she looks over for a short period of time. "She looks at me normal". "Okay, but what about when she was hostile before you said we were friends", she says almost defensively. "She was giving me a bad mean mug".

"Well maybe she's just protective with her friends", I say looking out my window. "Well I think she's into you and if she doesn't make a move within a week you should maybe, unless you don't want to", she smiles softly.

I start to think, what if she does like me... then I'll have to flirt more, but I'm not that good at that. At least I'll have a chance. How would I ask her out?

"Stop that", she says looking over. "Stop what?"

"You're overthinking, I can tell because I do it a lot too, just go with the flow bud", she says. I smile at her attentiveness.

It's finally Friday and I get to show off my costume and maybe see Paige's costume. Paige was in class Wednesday, she was actually paying attention to the lesson so we didn't talk much. I know that my main friend group (Alice, Charlotte, Lily, Luna, Phoebe + Chris and Julia) are going. I still don't know what they're going as, I know that chris and Julia are doing a couple costume. They're so cute sometimes, I aspire to have a love like theirs.

By now I'd learned the drill for our halftime show, and the music. It's wise that I stay off the field during time until next week, I'll finally have practiced the show with the full band by then.

Omg I have to find a way to bump into her and make a move. I decided to text the groupchat.
