When we got upstairs we ended up in Chris' guest room, I know this house way too well being his third wheel.

I sit on the bed and try to take my shoes off, but I can't because I doubled knotted my shoes before leaving the house. Paige came to take them off for me. "Gentle giant", I smile, she laughs. Geez, that laugh could make me do awful things. "Your laugh is so beautiful", I say smiling. She glances up for a moment, smiling. "You wanna watch a movie?"

"Yeah, ooh let's Watch coraline", I say excitedly. "Okay", she turns the tv on and plays Coraline.

We get into a more comfortable position in the bed, her arm around my shoulders and my head on her shoulder.

"Do you think if I was sober you'd give me a chance", I ask softly. "I'm not having this conversation with you right now", she says chuckling. "Why not", my voice is still soft.

"Because you won't remember this, it wouldn't be worth it", her voice gets soft. It kinda makes me sad, she sounds unsure of herself. I won't force her to talk about if she's not comfortable with it, she should know that right. Well she's only known me for a little over a week.

"Well whenever you wanna talk about it we could", I smile at her. She smiles back. I can't help but think. what if I wasn't in this state, would she like me.

"Do you think this is gonna mess with me at my football game tomorrow", I ask looking up at her. "Yeah, maybe don't go", she chuckles. "You know it's not that easy."

"Get someone to write you an excuse", she starts playing with my hair. "Can you do it, just fake your hand writing and say I got sick like I had diarrhea or something",I say looking at her. She laughs, "I don't think I could do that."

"Pleaseeee", I whine. "Okay, maybe", I turn back around, smiling.

I start humming an old tune, it helps me calm down. "Oh that's not good", I say still focusing on the movie. "What's not good", she turns to look at me. "I missed a note."

"Your humming sounds fine", she smiled softly. "I swear my singing isn't always that bad", I say seriously. She just laughs. "Lily said you have the voice of angel."

"Wow, that's so kind", I say smiling.

"Paige", she hums in response. "Can you take me home", I look up at her.  "Sure, come on", she gets up and grabs my hand. She walks me out and we talk to some of our friends before leaving the party and going to my dorm.

She walked me in and sat in the edge of the bed. "Sleep well", she smiled softly.

"Stay, get in here", I say. "I don't know."

"Pleaseee", I whine. "Alright", she huffs.

She climbs in the bed behind me and I turn to lay my head on her chest. She wraps her arm around my shoulder and I put my arm over her waist. 

"You comfortable", she asks softly. "Yes."
