While I'm in the shower I get a call from someone. I should answer, it could be Julia and it's interrupting my music. I answer on my Bluetooth.

"Hey I'm in the shower, just in case I flash anyone", I say. "Oh, is this a bad time", Paige says. I don't know what to say. "No, it's fine, what's up", I try to play it cool but inside I feel like I'm going to combust.

"Umm, I just wanted to see what you were up to", she says a little nervous. I get out and grab a towel. "I'm about to get ready to go help Chris set up", I say running to go put a t-shirt and underwear on. "Ooh, are y'all decorating like Halloween or something", she asks. "No, we're just getting snacks and stuff, they told me to get the snacks", I explain.

I come back to the bathroom to do my makeup and hair. I prop up my phone so we can see each other. "Soo, have you found a costume yet", I ask as I start on my makeup. "I can't say, it's a surprise", I can hear her smirking through the phone. "Right, so I guess I'll see it when you get there", I say starting to smile. "I guess so."

I'm almost finished with my makeup. Paige likes it, she says it's not too much but not too little. As I put my lip stick on I  hear giggling. "What are you on about", I ask. "You're not wearing pants", her cheeks are pink. "Nah, pants are overrated", I chuckle. "You'll get used to seeing me this way anyway."

Is my flirting that bad... why is she so quiet, maybe she's picking out clothes, but the party is in 3 hours. "Hey are you good", she interrupts my thoughts. "Um yeah, just thinking about something. I begin blowing out my hair and then straighten it after 45 minutes.

When I'm done I put my phone down only showing her the ceiling. "You have now been demoted, you are now one of my inferior employees", I say with a silly accent and she breaks out laughing.

I leave the bathroom and go change into my costume. "I gotta go so I don't crash my bike", I say. "Bye bye." "Bye tori", she hangs up. Has she ever said my name before. Omg, she finally said my name, I smile at the thought as I turn my playlist on and go to the grocery store.

I grabbed hot Cheetos, lays, smart pop, and many containers of party dip, we'll need it since they know so many people. It's enough for at least 70 people.

When I got there I filled the counter top with the chip bags and party dip. "This should be enough right", I ask Chris. "Yeah, but Julia got like 10 extra bags", he says sounding unsure. "It'll be fine", Julia comes in with many bags in her arms. "The booze is in the car", she nods her head to the door. Me and Chris run out and get the drinks and bring them in.

I don't know where she could've gotten the money for so much booze, actually... Chris had to pay for some of it probably most of it anyway.

The party finally started and there's a bunch of people in this house. Maybe around like 55 people, it's not too bad because his house is kinda big and he has a pool.

Alice and I were having a conversation about pickles. "Pickles are the best thing and you can tell me otherwise", I say crossing my arms. "They suck and you know it", she says back. "Okay but would you rather eat a pickle or a cucumber", I give her a knowing look. She gives me the same look.

"Your girl is here", she says pointing with her thumb. "I can't do it." "Yes you can, go talk to her." I've gotta go find Inês so I can make her talk to her. "How about you go talk to Inês", I say smirking. "I will, when I find her", I sigh knowing she won't let up. I end up going up to Paige

"HEY", Paige turns around to hug me. "Hey Paige", I smile softly. "Um... where's your costume?"

"I'm a blueberry", she says and I start laughing. "What's so funny", she raises any eyebrow. "You're just wearing a blue tracksuit", I have tears in my eyes. "That doesn't change my costume", she chuckles at the end.

"Hey do you wanna go get a snack with me", I ask her. "Yeah sure."  I grab her hand and lead her to the kitchen, there's not many people in here. I grab a bag of cheetos and take her to the couch.

"So, how was your week", I say laying my legs across hers. "It was fine, my coach has been making us work extra hard", she says putting her hands on my knees. "And how's that going for y'all" "it's fine, we'll be grateful for it in the end", she softly smiled at me. "How was yours?"

"Uh, extra band practice has been beating my ass but other than that it's been normal I guess", I smile at her. "Want one", I tilt the bag toward her. "Sure"

"Wanna go to the pool", I ask turning to her after a few minutes. "Yea sure", she turns to me. "Can we get drinks first", I ask. "Yeah, of course"

I ran straight for the sprite and grenadine. "You like Shirley temple", I ask looking up at her. "I love them."

"Hand me the booze", I point to a bottle of alcohol. "I can't, I'm probably gonna have to drive you home", she says knowing I took my bike. "We can walk", I say and she hands me the bottle. I finish making the drinks.

We get our stuff and went to the pool in Chris' backyard. There's not many people here either. we sat with our feet dangling over the water, except Paige's feet were actually in the water.

"So, you're in choir", she smirks at me. "Yeah, I really like it", I say turning my attention to her. "When are you gonna sing for me"

"I don't know, we'll just have to see", I turn back to the pool.

The more we drank the more I wanted to dance, I've already finished my drink.

"Hey, why don't we go dance", I turn to Paige. "How much booze did you put in there", she asks furrowing her eyebrows. "Not enough to get me drunk", I chuckle. "Pleaseee", I whine. "Alright."

We go back inside and good and plenty is playing. Paige grabs my hips as we start swaying to the song, my back is to her. It feels like it's only us in the room, I wish I could stay in this moment forever.

When the song is over I go back to the kitchen to see Lily taking shots. "Here take one", she hands me one. I take it because I realize that I never let myself loose. "Are we doing shots", I ask looking at her. "Yeah", she smiles turning back toward me. She hands me more, 3 to be exact.

Now that I think about it, this isn't a good idea.

I go to find Paige and she's still on the dance floor, dancing to drake. I really want to hug her.

I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her neck and she puts hers around my waist. We sway side to side. Wow, I'm not sure I've been this impulsive before.

"Let's go upstairs", I say to her smiling. "Woah there bud, you're drunk as hell".

"Not for sex silly", I giggle. "I wanna be alone with you", a red tint comes across her cheeks and she walks me up the stairs.
