Sorry that I have been MIA. I have been busy and also have a complete writer's block. I have been trying to figure out how to proceed with the story. Anyways, here's the next chapter. Hope you enjoy!

After my conversation with Kathy, Emily took me to a cute little shop to get some clothes. It feels weird wearing jeans and shirts since I'm used to wearing long toga-like dresses. I guess I'll just have to get used to it. On our way back to her house, we pass by a red house with a guy with long hair standing outside next to a girl and a truck. I see him lift some kind of death trap from the truck. For some reason, I feel a pull toward him.

"Hey Emily, who's that?" She does a quick glance to see who I'm talking about.

"That is Jacob Black. Billy's son. Sam thinks that he will be shifting soon, but right now him and a few others think that Sam has a cult and getting the guys hooked on drugs."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. Now, the girl is Bella Swan. She fell in love with some vampire, which you will most likely hear the term leech or blood sucker instead when it comes to the guys. Anyways, him and his family left Forks leaving the guys having to patrol more land. The vampire left her in the middle of the woods while it was freezing cold outside. Harry asked the guys to go looking for her because her dad was panicking because he couldn't find her. Sam said when he found her, she was ice cold and curled up in a ball on the ground passed out."

"What a dick." Emily laughs at that.

"Yeah, but there is nothing we can do about it."

"Does she know about the wolves?"

"No because outsiders are not supposed to know unless you're an imprint or part of the council. The only reason you know is because you are an angel, which technically is part of the supernatural world."

"I guess you're right." It was quiet for a moment before I spoke up again. "I know it's been awhile, but do you think Billy will do another bonfire so I can hear the legends again? I haven't heard them since I was 8."

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Just ask Sam and he can call Billy." I just nodded my head and said okay. We finally make it back to Emily's house and she helps me take all the bags in. After putting all my new clothes away, I go in the kitchen and see Jared eating a muffin.

"Hey, Grace we need to work on something." I look at him with a confused look. "We are going to get you to start howling like we do when we pull up to the house."

"Why?"

"Because it announces our arrival. Duh."

"Are you sure it isn't because you like hanging your head out the window like a dog?" I ask with one eyebrow raised. He just looked at me speechless.

"Okay. Listen here. Hanging your head out the window and letting that wind hit you in the face not only makes you feel free, but it makes you feel good. You should try it." Before I could say anything, Paul pipes in.

"Jared, you are the only one that does that." I just laugh at Paul's comment toward Jared.

"I see how it is. Everybody is ganging up on me," Jared says. He puts on a pouty face and wipes a fake tear from his eye.

"Alright Jared. I'll jump down the rabbit hole and do it a couple of times with you. If I like it, I'll start howling everytime I pull up to the house. If I don't like it, then you can't bug me about it. Deal?" That seemed to perk him up and smile real big.

"Deal!"

"Look what you done now! You are inflating his ego! It's already big enough that we almost don't have anymore room in this house," Paul says. Jared just gives him a death glare and then gives him the middle finger.

"Oh fuck off Paul!" Paul starts laughing and they start bickering back and forth with each other. About an hour later, Sam comes through the door and gives Emily kisses all over her face before finally touching her lips. Once he was finished, I asked him about Billy telling the story at a bonfire. He said he would ask and then left it at that.

For the rest of the day, I hung out with the guys if they didn't have patrol. They would teach me what I needed to know, what things were and answered any questions I had. We called it Jared's and Paul's Class of Things to Know 101. How they came up with that? I have no clue.

I answered any questions they had and taught them a few things since my home was so different than here. When the guys were on patrol and Emily started cooking, she would teach me as best as she could without overwhelming me. I think I'm going to like it here for now.
